I am incredibly saddened to have to write this review. I have ordered multiple times from this company and they have always provided high quality items that I loved. However, this last order has been a nightmare. I placed an order for a sweatshirt on August 23. I knew that it would take 4-6 weeks to receive and with supply chains all out of whack I figured it would take a bit longer. At the 11 week mark on November 10 with no communication from Michelle in regards to that particular sweatshirt in her Facebook group or directly with customers who ordered I reached out. She responded within 1 day which I was surprised at and her response stated she was hoping to get these sweatshirts finished and shipped by the following week. Then in December I emailed again when I hadn’t received my sweatshirt but never got a response so I asked on a Facebook post and got the response that the sweatshirt I had ordered was currently in production. One month later in January I emailed again when I STILL had not received my order. I did not get a direct response from Michelle but she created a Facebook post that addressed my concern. I then emailed again yesterday which was the 6 month mark for my sweatshirt. I am just at a loss because there has been no communication on her part in regards to what has been happening with my shirt and I also feel like I was scammed as of the lack of response when I have reached out and I paid for a product I have yet to receive or given a time line on when I should expect it. I also feel as if by only trying to reach out once a month since the 11 week mark shows I have been trying to be patient with the situation but I can promise I won’t be ordering from her again and I don’t recommend anyone else does either.
Update: I added a photo of an announcement that was made on the Facebook page, she explains she was sick for a month but I’d doesn’t address what caused the orders from 5 months prior to not be shipped. Read moreDO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I have been a customer for many many many years. I ordered multiple things and the quality has been great. The time to get the stuff? not so great.. However, this last time has been the far worst! I placed an order on 02/21/21 for a hoodie. It was a gift for my Scentsy Sister and was to be shipped directly to her. We both knew we had to wait a while to get it as per standard. However, it started to become months and months! I sent an email on 06/13/21 and got an automated response back to give 7-10 business days for a response back and that "extra patience would be appreciated during the global pandemic". Fast forward to today (07/18/21), I have received NO email and I have not received the hoodie. Since I am at wit's end, I had my Scentsy sister ask in the group as well as I commented all over the public page and even attempted to message Michelle Sanderson herself on Facebook. I got blocked and my Scentsy sister got the following response back "I've posted many, many times and tagged those who ordered. This hoodie has been out of stock for months. I just checked and it's back in stock so I am ordering them right now". That is total BS. I was a member of the Facebook group up until May. There was no post and I was not tagged. My Scentsy sister (whose name is also on the order) saw no post and also was not tagged. If the hoodie was not in stock, people should not have been able to purchase said item! If the hoodie was not in stock, refunds should have automatically been given. At the bare minimum, EMAILS should have been sent. Not posts on Facebook, which is a HIGHLY UNRELIABLE way to contact. Facebook chooses what posts get pushed into newsfeeds. Facebook chooses what and when to notify a person. FACEBOOK GROUP IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE WAY TO EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE! Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. I am writing this review in January 2023 - I placed an order in February 2022 for some Harry Potter themed t-shirts. Michelle reached out to me via email soon after to let me know that she was not allowed to make the shirts and asked if I would be okay with a store credit. I agreed to take the credit but when I checked my account it was for less than what I paid for the shirts. I then attempted to contact Michelle multiple times to get the credit corrected but it was not until July 2022 that she finally responded and corrected the mistake.
After the correction to my credit was made in July 2022, I then placed an order that same month with my credit and also ordered additional items. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THEM and it is January 2023! I have tried to reach out to her via email on multiple occasions and only get an automated response. My facebook messenger messages are ignored and any comments I make on any posts in the American Hero Clothing group are removed.
To say I am frustrated, is an understatement as the amount that I have paid for merchandise that I have NOT received is over $100. I have been more than patient with shipping guidelines and waiting for email responses. I NOW WANT A REFUND FOR MERCHANDISE I PAID FOR ALMOST A YEAR AGO AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED!!
