ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS FOR THIS PLACE ARE FROM AT LEAST A YEAR AGO... I bought a weeping birch tree from here not this spring, but last may 2022, and we had someone plant it and paid arborist to make sure it would be okay, because ALL the leaves started dying and we couldn't figure out what the issue was. Two companies came out and both said it had been sick with borers when we bought it anddddd yep. I saw zero signs of it during pickup because I'm an idiot and didn't check the upper branches that were covered by the leaves and twisting around. I just checked the trunk and it was fine so this is sad. Their guarantee is a year for trees but my tree was purchased in late may, and we had an extremely long winter that went far into our spring. so by the time we were able to tell if it was dead FOR SURE, after the danger of frost had passed snd we gave it time to sprout, it was gone and there was NOTHING we could do about compensation. And yes we had jept the receipt too. Im so angry I just.... yeah. This tree meant A LOT to me. It was my moms favorite tree and she passed away on christmas morning that year before. So this was an extremely EXTREMELY important tree for me and not to mention the money I spent that was a HUGE amount for me too, you don't understand. I'm a college student and I should've known better and checked it better. I was so excited. August 9th was my moms birthday and I still have the dead tree in my yard and i cry over it almost every day.
Spent 250 on the tree and then a couple thousand in arborist to tell me it was gone before I even brought it home.
At least my bleeding hearts I bought from them bloomed this year. Four blooming stems that lasted about a week. Maybe. Its placed directly next to my other FOUR bleeding hearts and hydrangeas I purchased from LOWES of all places which have done AMAZING within the first season. I'm just sad, I never ever have issues with plants EVER, and this place was expensive, one bleeding heart was like 30$35? I just wish things would've...
Read moreOwner is very Rude to say the least. I bought 3 to many boxwoods and I simply wanted to return them a day later and he wouldn't allow me to do so. These boxwoods were never taken out of the original pot. I can understand if I was asking to return them a month later but it was only a day! Plus, no where is it written on my receipt that returns aren't allowed. If, this is a rule then it should be documented on a customer's receipt. The owner was so rude that he hung up on me! I believe a lesson in customer service is needed.
On top of this, this place is way overpriced. I found the exact same boxwoods same size as well for half the price. There are other places that treat customers with respect that you would be able to return your plants to without any hassle if you accidentally purchased to many or simply...
Read moreThe place itself is nice. They seem to carry a wide variety and nice quality. We recently built a new house right up the road. We sent in an inquiry to have our home landscaped and never received a call or email back. A month or so later I went in, looking to spend well over $1,000 in plants and they were very rude and short. I have been back a couple times and every time is a different person with the same attitude. I am not sure how they plan to stay open with this customer service. They were not willing to help show me where the plants were and acted as if I was an inconvenience. We ended up purchasing a couple thousand in plants from Artisan's - their customer experience was...
