A month ago, I got Botox in my forehead and lip filler for the first time here. They are very nice and inviting, which is why I was on the fence about writing this review. They even honored their promotional prices after it was over since they were booked up during the time of the promotion. But, since I want to cry every time I look in the mirror, Iām going to throw it out here.
Iāll start off by saying my lips look great. She did a wonderful job with the filler. However, something went wrong with the botox. I asked for a brow lift and wanted to get rid of the 11ās between my brows. During the consultation, I let her know that I was already concerned with how hooded my eyes were (thinking the brow lift would help with my already droopy eyelids). She mentioned some eye drops that can help with that, but failed to mention the Botox could potentially make it worse. Which is exactly what happened.
Now, my eyelids are the droopiest theyāve ever been and my right eye is more closed than the left. So much that I can hardly get my contact lens into my right eye.
Before I left, they scheduled a follow up appointment over the phone two weeks later. I figured I would express my concerns during the follow up, but they never called me. I texted and called them after waiting for about 20 minutes. They never answered or responded. Their communication was on point leading up to my appointment.
Thankfully, the Botox caused ptosis is temporary, but so far itās still going strong and Iām a month in. It was a waste getting my lips done because now I donāt even want to be seen or take any photos. It has made me look 10 years older and my eye makeup looks terrible, no matter how I apply it.
I realize nothing can be done to correct this other than waiting for it to wear off. I will probably never get Botox again but if I do, I will be sure to do more extensive research instead of trusting them to be open and honest about potential side effects.
This experience has made me feel as if they didnāt care about me after they got my money and will probably go somewhere else...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe firdt time i went she did a great job so i was happy to return My appointment was canceled 15 minutes before it was to start. I got this message via text. Confused, i called the office 3 times and no one answered. So i texted to confrim they were actually doing this to me with 15 minutes notice, since they are very clear they personally require 24 hours notice or you will be charged. The text response started with āLike i saidā which - wow! McDonaldās has better customer service than this spa LOL Sandraās staff then stated that āi dont want to have to be doing thisā, so the staff member opted to then attempt to gaslight me, as though i should feel sorry for them having to do their job? Unbelievable. I was offered to come later but that didnāt work for me and after being treated like garbage the chances I will walk into this place willingly is right at 0%.
I realize customer service is not what it once was, but good lord. To cancel 15 minutes in advance throwing my whole day off, saying i can come in later (newsflash: i could not, and how pompous to think someone can accomodate you like that), to then get the snarky āLike I saidā after you ignored my call - followed by a plea for me to feel sympathy for the message sender? When you have a job, you represent that business. And you shouldnt gaslight customers.
I can only assume Sandra had someone come in and that would be more financially benefical for her to serve, and my time and inconvenice was incomsequential to her.
The kicker was being told I couldnāt get a refund!! Do you think im going to accept service from someone who has so little respect for my time?
I submitted through Wells Fargo
Shame on this business for caring deeply about their own time (24 hour notice for cancelations or youre charged), but zero respect for the time of their clients.
I will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been getting Botox for 17 years now and have received it from plastic surgeons in Dallas and providers in Albuquerque and Tuscon. Iāve had good Botox and bad Botox and know too well what bad Botox looks like on my face.
Ten years ago I was fortunate to find Sandy. Simply put - Sandy is the best injector I have had in my 17 years. She understands how the facial muscles work - she knows where to inject and how much to inject to give a youthful appearance without droopy eyes or heavy eyebrows. She knows how to hit the eyes to soften lines without removing smile expression. She knows how to hit frown lines on the lower mouth and ābunny tracksā on the nose. She is equally as skilled at filler injection, understanding what product to use and how much to use to subtly take years of droop off the face and lift the lips.
I appreciate that Sandy creates treatment plans specific for me - if I need a small retouch here or there, she gives it! If the aging process is annoying me when looking in the mirror one morning, I can quickly get an appointment with her to see what she thinks; it is a continual, easy, quick process which fits with my busy life.
I appreciate also that Sandy is continually taking training courses and learning new techniques, and I have personally greatly benefited from her skills as it keeps my look modern and timely. Her newest lip technique is AMAZING!
Iām at a point in life where I can go anywhere for my cosmetic needs, but no matter where I may be working - I travel to Cruces to see Sandy when needed because no one else touches my face.
If you want the best in the region - book with Sandy. You will not be...
