I called Monkey Wrench Plumbing for an issue with my shower faucet and a leak under the kitchen sink. The gentlemen that came honored and estimate I received from a competitor and even came in lower to have the repairs made. So when my toilets began to back up a week later, I was happy to call Monkey Wrench Plumbing again. Andy and Sergio arrived within the agreed window and were very professional. They assessed that there was a clog in the main line outside my home. They were able to unblock the clog and clean it out to send in a camera. It was determined from there that some roots from some palm trees had broken into the pipe and required repair. After talking and negotiating with Josh on Friday, we were able to agree on a fair price and work was started and finished the next day, Saturday. Andy was very informative and helpful to take the time to answer my questions and was able to give me updates during the day via text and video as I was at work. I appreciated the professionalism and quality of work and it's my pleasure to give Andy, Sergio, and Josh a 5 star rating. Garbage disposal wasn’t working so decided to give these guys a try. Had tried all the simple troubleshooting stuff with no luck so was hoping maybe it was a fix I wasn’t seeing and wouldn’t need to replace it. One of the guys straight up lied to me and said I had a one horsepower unit. I had a 3/4 horsepower unit (which I knew) so he already lost me at that. He quoted me $960 to replace it with another 1 horsepower unit (the one I don’t actually have). Nope. Bought a brand new 3/4 horsepower unit on amazon for literally a quarter of the price and installed it myself in 30 minutes. Will not contact again or recommend them to anyone....
