I had the worst experience today at this location due to a customer service named Robin. I arrived earlier than my husband and kid’s swimming card is in my husband’s car. When I entered the hall, this Robin asked me if I have the card, I explained to her, she was very impatient and stopped me, she asked me to have a picture of the card, I said I could ask my husband but he’s driving, not sure he could send over the photo right away. Robin said you can go. After my husband arrived, I hopped into the car& took the swimming card, scan it, Robin asked me AGAIN, are you picking up? I said my kid and husband are in the pool, she interrupted again and said” so you are picking up, ok?” I am so shocked you have “ customers service” people like this, is it because I am an Asian or a young lady? During the two conversations, a lot of people passed through without scanning the card, without being asked” what are you doing here?” Picking on me is a stupid move, racist Robin, you did not demonstrate any customer service skill, instead, you showed your rudeness, racism and unprofessional. A racist should...
Read moreAmazing pool. Horrible people. I went with my friend and her kids to this pool because they are about to join swim team, and she wanted me, a person who's been on swim team, to give them a swim team experience, so they would be ready for try-outs. It was also their first time swimming a 25-yard distance, so it was a really special day for them and their mom. A lifeguard approached her and told her that it was against pool rules for me to swim with them in what appeared to be a lesson since they sell lessons. Repulsive. These kids can swim and aren't in need of any lessons. They simply wanted to practice, so they would do well at their swim team try-outs, and I was in the water to keep them safe since they are only 5- and 6-years-old, and the pool depth in our lane was over six-feet deep. I am very disheartened about my experience at this PUBLIC pool that charges an entry fee, and then tries to dictate how...
Read moreSpring break for the public schools isn't a bad time to visit the pool here, though more people show up to use the pool. I came at 9 a.m. Of nine available lanes, 1-4 had no one swimming in them during the 90 minutes I visited.
It's almost empty during normal school hours.
Water temperature is about right, maybe a tiny bit warm, if you're a hard core shark. Water is clear, locker rooms are clean, life guards seem attentive. You'll need a quarter to use the lockers, or just take your gym bag with your clothes to the pool deck.
I suggest visitors check the website for scheduled events which may affect open swim hours
February 2019 update. Ay, the pool doesn't open on Sundays. You'll have to look elsewhere (YMCA?) to...
