Country Lanes Bowling — Local services in Laurel

The interior is smoke-free, newly renovated and looks great. The staff is also friendly, and I wanted to give them five stars.

The problem is mechanical. Several balls failed to return, the sweeper froze a couple times and needed reset, and the computer was confused repeatedly.

One example: I knocked down seven, and the sweeper cleared the pins and left three. But before I could bowl, the pins were reset, so I bowled again (and got seven again), but the score was recorded as zero. Then it was my wife's turn, but she was given only the three remaining from my try and we had to reset. This happened no less than ten times in two games.

At first I thought we were accidentally pressing the reset button, but it continued even after I started watching.

For what it's worth, we did receive a small discount, and the staff apologized and explained it was a problem they thought was fixed. I would definitely try them again, but for now I can't give more...

Appeals to my out of towner needs: Nice, affordable, great food, family oriented, mix crowd. Staff was very helpful after introductions. Burgers are amazing and Hayden was very helpful. I wished they played music while you bowl( there was a jukebox but if no one paid nothing played) it was an odd vibe without it. Great parking. Love the layout for large family functions or a date night. The ladies restrooms were pretty clean too. Overall, I would visit again when I am in town. The hours are great in a small town area that doesn’t really offer entertainment that everybody can enjoy and eat good food late night. Super friendly staff, really clean facility. The best Pool Tables in town easily. Great bowling lanes with computer scoring. Great food and great prices. There is nothing bad to say about this place, not a thing. This is a large, clean, building with plenty of room for plenty of people. The people who work there are sweet and friendly as they can be and knowledgable as well. Yes, this city and area are lucky to have such a business. Im thrilled personally.
