WORST SERVICE EVER! Iām traveling through the city and my 16ft trailer needed a new stud. The first time I came in the first time and the old man āhelpingā me did not want to do anything for me because the part I need was for a trailer and he couldnāt look it up. Iāve been asked if he could just go in the back and see if he could find the proper size, he refused. He then begrudgingly pointed me to a section on the rack that had trailer stuff.. I purchased those items and they did not fit. I came back to the store to return the items and was āhelped quote by another old man who is just as grumpy as the first, and when I gave him the part number that I acquired from Carquest down the street, he had a real issue of me, asking him to type in the part number. When I asked him to put in the part number with the blank spaces that was listed for the part number he refused, and I had to ask him to humor me, and then he did it, but did not want to.
My experience at this AutoZone is one that makes me sad for the human race. Here I am a stranded traveler trying to find parts, and I am met with attitude, hardheaded, lack of empathy employees from this auto zone.
By the way, I found everything I needed at Carquest and they had a smile and a positive attitude the entire time. They even went and grabbed a book and looked up the part...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was driving south on I-85 yesterday and it had just started to rain. Turned on my windshield wipers and the driver side wiper flew off. I knew the rain was going to get worse so I quickly found the nearest parts store and it happened to be this Autozone. I called to see if they were open and the woman who answered, Kayla, couldnāt have been nicer or more helpful. She checked to see if the wipers for my car were in stock (they were), took my payment over the phone, and told me to call them when I got there and they would come out and put them on for me, which was great because I had two of my three kids in the car. I pulled up, called, and they said someone would come right out. Two seconds later, James came out, handed me my receipt, and installed the new wipers. He was so kind and efficient, especially since it had started to rain a bit harder. I didnāt have to get out of the car and he was so quick, my kids didnāt even complain. I am truly thankful for this establishmentās incredible customer service. You turned what could have been a nightmare into a very slight, 10 minute detour. Kayla and James, thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey're getting a higher star than they should only bc the employee wouldn't sell me a battery and I ended up going to Advance Auto which was cheaper. So, thanks for that. I know she was trying to save me the $260 and she did save me some $$$ but I was inconvenienced by driving out of the way & having to leave work early to get the battery before my battery died again. I explained that it took AAA 5 tries to get my battery jumped & didn't want to tow it to a shop for a dead battery. This should've been explanation enough but apparently not. Just bc the battery tester says the battery is good doesn't mean it is. And quite frankly, I'm getting tired of the Auto Zone employees trying to diagnose issues when they're not certified mechanics. My car has been checked numerous times. There's no alternator issues/open circuits or anything else wrong. Batteries today aren't very good and not designed to handle the electrical load of new cars. I saved money by going to Advance Auto. Thanks for that. I did purchase some coolant which was...
