This was a great experience. The owner and tour guide is a middle school teacher who does an excellent job giving the history of the lake and pointing out facts about findings along the lake and shares stories about the residences and parks you encounter along the tour. The sunset tour was beautiful. He was great patience. My two-year-old granddaughter was a handful and he continued on with the tour and expressed friendliness throughout the tour. We even discussed clouds. He stopped at sunset and allowed us to watch it completely set. It was beautiful. Great tour....

We were staying on Lake Hartwell for a girl’s weekend late March, and while the lake was too cold for swimming, we wanted to do something fun on the water. Captain Russell’s tour was just the thing!
