Hiway Grocery — Local services in Lawn

Stopped here as a halfway meeting point on the side of the highway with another party. We meet, strike a deal, dude leaves, I go inside. I'm greeted by this very attractive woman behind the counter and she is very pleasant. I walk to the back of the store in search of the beer cooler, because, well, I wanted some beer. Don't see none. So I walk back over to the counter and inquire as to know if they even sold beer. She tells me its a Dry County. I express my disappointment as I walk back to the coolers and grab a half gallon of milk. I pay for it, leave, and drive back home. I drank the half gallon before I even got on the proper highway to get to my house, but I'd much rather had it been a Sixpack I slammed before then. A great little hide away store right on the highway. This is a "Mom and Pop" store with some very nice people working there. Plus they make fresh Pizza and make it however you like it. Sell gas and other supplies for your car. A very good selection of essential groceries. This is not a chain store and lots of times the owners are there working which means a lot to me. This store sits right on the hiway. Half way between nowhere and over there . Dont let the outside fool you. It's very clean,neat and modern on the inside. Stop here to use a clean bathroom and get drinks and snacks. Not wheelchair accessible though due to the curb. Bathroom not wide enough for a wheelchair to enter either. Staff very friendly.
