I feel bad, Halls has been my favorite store for years! I bought a dress on the clearance rack just before Christmas. It didn’t fit my daughter in law but she loved it and so I took it back and asked if I could exchange it for a bigger size, the woman at the front said yes if there is one there. I was excited, I remembered there was (but I talked myself into the smaller one) and was hoping it was still there. It was bigger but $10 less because of an issue with one of the buttons but I didn’t care I was ready to just do and even trade. On my way back to the counter a younger woman stopped me and no exchanges on clearance. Apparently the timeline meant nothing to him. Again, had a terrible problem with the quartz countertop, which ended up getting broken befor it even arrived at the job site. Instead of Larry, trying to help us out securing another piece of quartz he up- charged us. We wanted to support the local business but I guess in the long run they did not appreciate it. When I asked if that was excessive and if they should have called, they claimed they did, but when they did not get an answer they did the work anyway.
