I went to this course for my Son's birthday. He wanted to play there. We teed off at 1:00 pm, behind a 5 some of senior's playing mens league. I've never seen slower play in all of my 54 years on this earth. It was 50 minutes from starting that we were waiting on these clowns to finish putting on #3. That's just unbelievably ridiculous. I called the clubhouse and asked for a marshal to come out and tell them to speed up. The person who answered the phone agreed this was a extremely slow pace. She said they'd send someone out. Ha, that never happened. It turned out to be a 2 hr and 40 minute front 9. They left after that and we went straight to #10 tee box. Nobody in front of us, and nobody behind us. Played the back in 1 hr and 20 minutes. The course was in very nice shape and we enjoyed the links type challenge. In closing, I don't think I'll ever play there again. When it's 90° outside with not a tree for shade in sight, it's very hard to keep your rhythm with A-holes in front of you that seem to think they...
Read moreI only got to play the back 9, but it was one of the nicest courses i"ve played. They paired me with 2 guys who work there, Bob and Jimmy, and they were great to golf with. The ONLY complaint was that there were 0 porta-pottys to be found in case nature called.
Will play again when not in a rush. *Edit in 2022:. Only re-adding MY photo that they use all the time, taken from the 9th tee looking at the 9th green. I took it on May 25th 2017. MY pic was taken down, and someone else downloaded and then re-uploaded the same pic but in a worse resolution, so I had to put the ORIGINAL photo back up. So, whoever 'Isabella' is, stop...
Read morereally nice public course. usually in great shape. forgiving course. no twilight fees which is a bummer. one other little complaint is it seems every year they allow more and more fivesomes and sixomes, is that a word? this really slows play. if they re going to allow these kinds of groups they should at least inform them that they need to let people play through. i know it's an extra green free or two for the course when they do this, but this will end up driving away more golfers than it makes in extra revenue. so it will be a long term loss...
