Plowboy Produce Auctions — Local services in Lawrenceburg

This is a very authentic Amish produce auction. Everything is very fresh and locally grown. I'm giving it 5 stars, not because it's the best produce auction around, but because it's top quality product where the price is truly set by the buyers. For wholesale buyers coming from a distance it can be kind of a gamble because often there is limited volume so the prices tend to be on the high side. This is not a negative though. I like to see good farmers like these guys get a premium price for their premium product. If you are a retail consumer looking for box lots this is the place to get your money's worth. For the most part if you are looking to get a semi load of wholesale produce you might be better off going to a bigger auction like some of the auctions in Kentucky...

I am former Amish and they won’t let me bring anything because of it the only reason I gave one star is because I had to in order to leave a review for most people they are ok but if you are former Amish you won’t get any satisfaction there at all so they definitely haven’t seen my face the last time because I was discriminated I will definitely be back with more stuff another year and also to buy stuff...
