After purchasing a Maytag Pet Pro washer 3 months ago, the agitator started a grinding noise and then a smell of burning wires. Called Rains to set up a service appointment and was told someone would be out Friday Feb 16 in the morning. We both took off work early and went to Rains to ask when they would come out. We walked in and one lady was in the office, another lady was dusting the appliances, and Brian was behind the counter. We asked and were told that both his techs were out sick and he forgot to call us and a couple other people. This was around 11:40. He said he didn't call because he was busy. If he was busy, he could have had the person in the office call or even the person who was so diligently dusting the appliances off. Brian really did not seem to want to help. If he knew there were service calls to be done, when he found out his techs were sick, someone should have called first thing. Would have went a long way and not cost my girlfriend and I 4 hours of work. He should have a contingency plan in place for times like this. When asked about rescheduling he said he did not know when his techs would be back to work and he was not going to send a truck to the Apache area every day. Read moreI purchased a Jenn Air microwave/convection combination microwave from the store. I also purchased a surround for the microwave, being assured they could install both pieces. When the “installer “came, he spent 6 hours in my home attempting to install the surround.Till after 8:00 pm that evening. He took a jigsaw to my cabinet work ,he said, to make it fit. During the attempted install,he scratched my brand new microwave all over. I called Brian to question the installer, AND install, as it was NOT done properly . He assured me that he would take care of the matter. He sent said installers father out to correct the install. When the father got here to correct install, HE HAD TO DRIVE BACK TO LAWTON TO GET HIS TRAILER IN ORDER TO GET SOME WOOD TO FIX THE INCORRECT FIT!!!! When asked about the scratches ,,he said “they arn’t scratches”. I guess my Husband, father, mother and everyone who has seen it just didn’t know really what a scratch was. I wish I could attach pics . No follow up call from Brian, and I don’t feel it is my responsibility to keep hounding him. This company was recommended by Jenn-air service center. Read moreDon’t waste your time and money with this company, they are rude and incompetent, apparently they can’t tell the difference between a washer and dryer, I purchased both less than a year ago my dryer broke 4 weeks ago I went in to Rains and physically took the worker to the exact dryer I purchased from them and described what was broken in DETAIL, they said parts will be ordered and I will receive them in about a week, I waited weeks for the parts and nothing. Called back 3 weeks later and they insisted I said it was my washer that they had though I had issues with, still no parts, I’m tired of drying clothes at the laundry mat when I have a dryer less than a year old not working I was frustrated by this point I called back for my parts once again, still no parts, they were never ordered, who wouldn’t be mad, I lost my cool with them and now they refuse to resolve my issues, although still under warranty, they no longer wanted to help me and tried to give me the number to Maytag to deal with the situation myself, I paid them$$$ Worst customer service ever experienced and would not recommend...
