Nason Creek Rest Stop — Local services in Leavenworth

This is a great "last stop" when heading Westbound over Stevens Pass. It is well maintained (restrooms are always clean, there is plenty of parking, and the lot and sidewalks are kept clear of snow). Some days there is free coffee provided by volunteers. There are vending machines if you need something other than coffee to wet your whistle. If you need to make a phone call, this is a good place to do so, because cell service can be spotty once you get back out on the road heading...

Other than issues trying to turn into the rest area, this is a great stop between the west side of the mountains and Leavenworth. The dog area is just ok. They do have a pet station with poop bags available, but no trash can nearby. I imagine that a lot of people won't pick up after their dogs because the closest trashcan is almost 50 yards or more away at the bathroom entrance. Grass areas are off limits for dogs, even so I saw several people walking their dogs...

Clean restroom, quiet to just rest , take a walk to keep traveling until a person can get to thier deztination. A nice place for your pets, it is a clean spot as well ,we had a little dog, i walked her to get her out of the car to let her have some excersice, as well go potty, i didnt have to watch where i walked, with other dogs waste, in the area thank you for a clean area for others to relax , enjoy.
