I was very upset/ disappointed with my experience here. My family and I rented a vacation rental down the street from this candy store. We had been wanting to go check it out I love shopping local especially during these times. We had walked all the way down there and realized we forgot our masks. Where we live doesn’t require masks so it sometimes slips your mind. Instead of walking all the way back to the house to grab them I walked in with my scarf covering my face while everyone waited outside and asked the lady at the counter if she had any extra. She yelled at me and said I needed a mask and rolled her eyes as she was grabbing them. “Where are you guys even from??!?” she went on about more things and was so so rude. I ended up just leaving because why would I want to support a little business that treats their customers so rudely. While we walked out she yelled at us” ummm you’re welcome!!!!!” Come on.... I understand times are scary but a different approach would have been the respectful and mature way to go. Do not recommend. Leavenworth customer service is just sad this...

I would give this place a zero star if I could! First off the candy section of this store is really a small selection!!! But also when the lady running the store speaks to you with a mask on and it shows in her eyes and in her voice that she doesn’t really want to be there she should figure out another way to ask a customer if they have a mask! According to the Washington mandate it states medical conditions that cause the mask to affect your condition you are EXEMPT and she doesn’t care! So I will never be back when I come to visit Leavenworth Washington and will never recommend this business to anyone! The lady should learn the rules to this mandate before saying anything rudely to a customer and here is the other thing.... today is July 6th and the true mandate happens Monday July 7th so go figure! I know as of today we need to be wearing the masks that it is strongly recommended but also if you are 6 ft socially away from someone then you are ok as well!! If she thinks this is going to hurt the business she is wrong, SHE will hurt...

First, the beauty that surrounds this shop is amazing! The pictures don't do it justice. The shop surprised me.They have an amazing array of items. Many options of hot sauce, and other condiments, that look and sound amazing. They also have options for gluten free in many of their products. I had a hard time choosing from all of the flavors of fudge. I ended up getting a dark chocolate fudge with no nuts. It was smooth and creamy, as expected. Very good recipe. The little room they have set up for soda and other drinks is a hoot. They have a crazy flavors, some have crazy names. However, you will not find name brands of soda in that room. And just a heads up. The corn flavored pop, well it tastes like corn silk to me. The black berry soda is really good though. It was fun to go downstairs to look at all the "kid candy". They have items that are a blast from the past, and new stuff with Starwars on it. They have a pez section too. Not all candy is for kids..adults...

This place is amazing! And the perfect place to stretch your legs after a long drive over the pass. They make their own fudge, which is delicious, and also have their own condiments (the German beer mustard is soooo good), sauces, and snacks as well as a huge assortment of other yummy things like teas, taffy, and retro/novelty sodas. There are also some Leavenworth souvenirs such as tote bags, keychains, and magnets. The downstairs is full of candy of all descriptions, some of which I hadn't seen since I was a kid. We picked up some rice candy, a "taco" full of gummies, some mustard, a jar of marinated mushrooms, and some fudge. This place is fun for adults and kids alike. And, the views from the parking lot are absolutely stunning.

This is one of our stops annually when we head up to the lake. Salt water taffy, fudge, coconut macadamia nut brittle…the list goes on. I’ve looked up the world’s best candy stores and keep wondering why this isn’t on the list yet.
