We took two goats in to be processed. We requested roasts and kabobs out of one and steaks out of the other also we requested all bones, fat, heart , tongue and liver. We know the weights of the goats live 68, and 60, dressed weight 43, and 39. We know dressed weight is the weight of the carcass after the hide, head, feet and internal organs are removed. The only thing left is the meat and bones and fat. We received only a portion of the goats. We weighed each goat meat and bones. The one that weighed 68# dressed out to 43# we received only 2 roasts and one pack of kabob meat and a few pack of hamberger the weight of the meat and bones were 20# which there is missing 23# of meat. When I called and asked if we missed a box of meat I was informed that this goat was all bones and not a lot of meat so they could not get more roasts. The goat that weighed 60# and dressed out at 39# we requested steaks and received only 23# of meat and bones. There is 16# missing from this goat. It looks like we received all the bones. It is extremely odd that the smaller goat provided with more meat and bones. Adding the meat and the bones together should be close to the dressed weight. In total we are missing 39...
Read moreYikes, stay away from this place. During processing, they did something horribly wrong (pierced the intestines or stomach). The bacteria released contaminated the meat rendering hundreds of pounds of beef unfit to eat. The meat, regardless of cut (and ground beef as well) has a horrid taste (similar to how a feedlot smells). Of course they are taking no accountability for this. Our next stop is the USDA for testing of samples. A huge waste of food and money. Don’t buy the story that this operation was under new management beginning in August. According to documentation filed with the Secretary of State, the LLC for the “new management” was granted in...

Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the lady I spoke with, but she amazing. She answered all of my questions and had no problem taking the time to break down and explain...
