The store's computer system double charged my account during a recent visit 10/31/2025. Fine. Mistakes happen. I called the store to note the double charge to have the money returned to my account. The person who answered was kind and helpful explaining that the double charge could not be corrected until the next Monday. I also discovered that double charging seems to be an ongoing issue with this store. I am livid that this kind of situation is allowed to exist in Kansas. I am also outraged that the owners of this business adopt such a cavalier attitude with the trust of their customers money. Will I get my money on Monday? Maybe there will be another glitch and they'll offer another excuse. I don't know these people, but there is definitely some real shady business stuff going on there. And why should I have to wait three days for a refund in this day of age? especially since their equipment screwed me out of the money I need to live on? I am certainly not shopping there again. It's not worth the indifference the owners show to customers. It not worth the frustration and anxiety.
In reply to the unsatisfying response to my earlier comments, I add that the person I spoke with did not admit to any emotional distress - I was adamant and very clearly stated that my extreme dissatisfaction with how the owners were handling this gross transgression were not directed at her and that I in no way found her at fault and that she was in no way responsible for this flippant disregard for providing a remedy. I repeated this several times and thanked her profusely for her assistance. So don't try to spin this away from your lack of responsibility and accountability for a problem that you had known about for some time and obviously did not fix. That's on you and you know it. Furthermore, the claim that the issue cannot be resolved until the next business day is simply obscene. You just can't be inconvenienced to apologize and make immediate amends. That's a fact. I'm not a corporation that can shut down because the banks close their doors. I'm a neighbor twelve miles down the road who risked being treated like a human being at a store that hides behind excuses. You very conveniently took money out of my bank account but find it much too inconvenient to return it as easily as you took it. That's how "seriously" you take my end of things. There is no misunderstanding who you are. Your actions speak volumes. Honesty? Respect? Transparency? Bold claims from a business that dips into a person's bank account and then declines to return until it is convenient for them. That is no way to serve any community. So, no. I do not believe you take this very seriously. At best it is nothing but the most egregious casual indifference. And most notably, "we promptly corrected every concern that was brought to our attention — which is exactly what we’ve done again in this case." The food however is the worst I’ve ever had in my entire life and it ain’t exaggeration. I’ve lived in both rural and city areas but the food they serve at this place is quite something.
