Neighborhood's Home Improvement Store — Local services in Lebanon

Loved this place at first. The owner was helpful the first day. But when we came to pick up our countertop’s the island was 2 inches too short. The guy working told us that 34 was the only size they had even though the owner insured us the day before that they had all the sizes we needed. The young lady came to help us figure it out and found the exact size we had ordered. She was very knowledgeable and worked fast to fix the owners mistake. While we waited the 30 minutes for them to cut our piece the owner accused my husband of leaving without paying even though we had paid half the day before and our truck was still sitting in the loading dock, when he made the accusation. We are doing a full remodel on a home and had about 15,000 left to spend but after that horrible experience we will spend our money somewhere else. I am thankful and great full for the young lady who fixed the mistake I’m sure she deals with a lot l, with that man. Customer service in the smallest way would have went a long way. I see some of the negative reviews on here and understand that this isn’t Lowes, and customer service isn’t what we have come to expect from larger, corporate owned, profit hungry businesses. Neighborhoods to me is a place to find amazing cabinets, tile, countertops, sinks, etc, so that you don’t look like a home off of a Lowes shelf. The gentleman I deal with, Stan, is always respectful, knowledgeable, and a no BS kind of a guy. If you treat him with respect, he returns it in full. Having just received my new kitchen cabinets I had to write a review for this business and give a shout out to Jeremy who guided me through the process from beginning to end, answering my questions about the available products, providing a preliminary estimate, following that up with some request changes, coming to measure my kitchen himself and even delivering the cabinets to me.
