If hygiene is important to you, do not place your loved one at Otterbein. When you take a tour, are they selling you on how they are understaffed. Are they selling you on how your complaints are ignored? Would you like your loved one to be bathed and have their teeth brushed on a regular basis? If so, this is not your best option. It is important for you to know that before I placed this review that my mother contacted multiple individuals in leadership roles about these issues month after month. What would be your expectations after contacting a person that is in a leadership role at Otterbein about the neglect for your loved one when it comes to hygiene, but nothing improves? Just to give you an idea, the very first week my father was in Ottebein his tooth brush and toothpaste were bound together by a rubber band. Both were never taken out of their original packaging.
