Don't understand all the 4 and 5 star reviews. This used to be a good golf course and worth the premium price. It is no longer a $70 golf course. My group played this past Sunday and was disappointed with the overall course condition, cart paths were bad, tees were littered with spent tees (hello tee bucket) major water/drainage issues on a couple of holes, bunkers not maintained. I have played better $35 courses. Then to top it off the course ranger came up to us on hole 10 telling us we had to let a foursome play thru. Even though the were a full hole behind us. We told him we would and he said "yes you will because I'm the ranger". So we waited on 10 tee. Then he comes back telling us to play 10 and let them thru at 11(halfway house). So we waited for them to come thru only for them to tell us to go ahead and we haven't been holding them up. We complained at the pro shop after the round but they didn't seem to care. We will never go back there again. At least...
Read moreOnly get to play here about once a year these days, after moving to the Myrtle Beach area. Every hole, all the bunkers were hard pan, no sand, but plenty of stones and pebbles. Some were growing weeds, indicating they hadn’ been maintained in quite some time. All the greens appeared to have not had a pitch mark repaired in over a week. The 18th green had some serious dead spots. The snack shop was closed by 3:00PM, so all the golfers on the course that still had at least 6 holes to play on a warm day couldn’t get a bite or a cold drink. The teeing ground on the range was torn up, with very little clean turf to hit from. Trophy Club is no longer worth the elevated fee they now charge to...
Read morePlayed The Trophy Club for the first time on a perfect day in September of 2025. Tees, fairways, and greens were in great shape. Course is challenging but fair with rolling hills, blind shots at varying times, and large greens that require precision ball placement to give yourself and chance for birdie or par. Pro shop is one of the best I’ve seen for a public course. On the downside, the sand traps badly need attention! Little attention has been paid to both fairway and greenside bunkers. I plan to play the course again in spite of the...
