I only gave one star because there is no option for zero! I never write negative review but this one had to be done to save others the hassle. This may be the most unorganized flower shop that I have ever ordered flowers from to be delivered. On the day I ordered online (directly from their page) I was call 5 times about my order. The item I ordered they did not have in stock then they had to call back a few times to collect more $$$. Not a problem I ordered up a level. I did ask for my order to be delivered on Friday instead of Saturday as I originally stated when purchased. she stated "not a problem". Well that didn't happen? They attempted to deliver on Saturday when the recipient was out of town for the weekend and it was 80 degrees outside. They would have left it on the porch if no one answered the door. Luckily I got a text saying it was next to be delivered. I spoke to the manager and she was very nice and was able to stop the deliver. She also did offer to refund my purchase as well as have it delivered on Monday but I have not seen the refund yet and it's been a week. I am still getting text from the shop stating "sorry we were unable to deliver your purchase. Please call the shop". The arrangement was indeed delivered on Monday. Read moreI ordered an arrangement from All A’Bloom to send to a friend opening in a production at the Kaufmann Center. I found an arrangement on their website which was exactly what I thought was perfect for this particular event. Now, understand, I have ordered arrangements that I have seen on other florist’s websites where the finished arrangement that was delivered was no where near what I had seen in the online photo. So I was extremely pleased and happy when All A’Bloom sent me a photo of requested arrangement when it was finished and before it went out and it was just as beautiful as what I had seen on their site – possibly even prettier. Understand, too, that the photo was sent as part of their customer service. I hadn’t requested it (as I had done so with other florists, in the past, and was told, by the earlier ones, that they didn’t have the time and couldn’t be bothered). So I really appreciated this feature given by All A’Bloom. They also called me earlier in the day of delivery just to ascertain, since it was a theater complex, where the best place would be to deliver the flowers. Read moreI do not live in Kansas City, but I now can understand why All A’Bloom Flowers & Gifts is considered one of Kansas City’s best florist shops. Many times, a florist will take the initiative for substituting flowers or planter requests without contacting the customer. I guess they figure the latter is inconsequential detail that will get lost in the transition from customer to recipient? I, however; appreciated the very honest phone conversation from All A’ Bloom Flowers regarding the specifics of my order. Also, who can anticipated a sudden ice storm that complicates delivery orders from the supplier. This florist not only honored my desire for no substitutions(due to the occasion), they additionally went to the supplier and further delivered the order on time as requested. The latter I did not expect because of the severe weather in the KC area. I happily discovered All A’Bloom Florist to be a business of integrity. Having the florist send me a confirmation photo of my order, was also much appreciated. Their sincere efforts to please this customer were noteworthy, and I will definitely reach out to them again...
