Blue Heron Design — Local services in Lee's Summit

I don’t live in lees summit any longer, but this spot was one of my favorite getaways while in my formative years. Talking with the owner about his travels and collections opened my mind up to so many possibilities and had a huge influence on my current and future travels. It also impacted how I pick gifts and treasures to bring home. I haven’t bought a keychain or tourist items in ten years. I purely find local shops and bring back locally made & handcrafted jewelry, art, and other goods. I haven’t gone to visit blue heron in years, but I can’t wait to visit again soon! Thank you for the update, we had looked everywhere and couldn't find any info on why you were closed. We must have not been in the right places. This was the only way I could think to ask or figure out what I was missing. We will for sure be in as soon as we can.

I only gave it a 1 star because it was the only way to get this inquiry out. I'm here at the store and the website hrs. say 12pm to 4pm and it 2:30pm and they are closed. Had a Bootiful evening at Downtown Lee’s Summit’s Witches Eve event. I hope to return annually. Such a fun time. Thankful to all the shops participating. The Treats were Sweet and Boozy. The stores decorated so adorably for Fall and Festive Halloween. Friendly welcoming staff. We had a great experience. This shop Blue Heron Design had so many unique fun items. My daughter and I picked out some colorful friendship bracelets. Hair accessories. I loved so many fun keychains I couldn’t choose just one. Colorful clothing, jewelry, tons of items.
