Harbor Freight — Local services in Lee's Summit

First time to a Harbor Freight and I had wanted to come here for some time. I took it all in, walking from aisle to aisle seeing the many different tools and accessories for any and all projects. The prices were awesome and would be great for get a small or medium-sized work area started. The store has small tools from bits to larger items like a dust vacuum. It had automotive supplies too. the building was clean and well organized, and the staff was always around to assist if you had questions or needed anything. In the time I was there, I was asked at least 3 times if I needed help. (I don’t mind). After picking out my purchases, the staff at the register took more time than anyone should to help me. He setup an account, got my mailing for coupons (which I asked for), and answered and provided information about HF. I have visited the Lee's Summit Harbor Freight Store so many times, since the store opened, I can't count them all. I am writting this to compliment the staff at this store. Erika, Lacey, & Kevin are just a few of the helpful people working there. All of the people working here are fantastic. They are helpful above and beyond what a customer would expect. Lacey helped me get 2 inverter generators from the Belton Store when their store sold out during a parking lot sale. If I have an issue, no matter how small, they go the extra mile to take care of it. I used to buy Craftsman hand tools exclusively, but not any longer. Harbor Freight hand tools are at least half the price. They carry a lifetime warranty. You just can't beat this price & product warranty. Thank you Harbor...

I have been here many times. I have spent thousands of dollars with Harbor Freight over the last few years. The last two times I was here, their credit card machine on the first register did not work with my card. Ran it on the one in the isle next to it and it worked fine. Both times the young guys working the registers were very rude and tried to tell me my card was bad and their machine worked perfectly when it didn't work. I suggested they should replace the card reader and they again told me it was my card. So much for the customer always being right.
