Helzberg Diamonds — Local services in Lee's Summit

Thank you thank you thank you Miki for completing my request. I went to the normal location I go to inside Independence Center to pick up my ring that I had sent out to get refurbished and inspected. With that said, I brought my wife’s ring with me to have hers done as well. The guy that helped me said he could do all of that and proceeded to just look it over quickly and stick it in the cleaner thing and handed it back. Didn’t look much different. I asked him “can u send it in now” he explained to me that “they only do that on special circumstances” and that “her ring doesn’t fit the bill for that” I was clearly frustrated, he said “but if u really want to, Ill send it off even though it doesn’t need it”. I bring it to the Lee’s Summit location at Summit Woods, and Miki looks it over, and in the same amount of time, finds 2 loose stones. 2 loose stones that old dude from the other location either clearly missed or just didn’t wanna bother with it. Long story short, I’ll be coming to this location from now on....

I don’t typically give reviews but I feel strongly about my experience. Firstly, the people here are very nice however they misplaced my papers when I came in looking for a wedding ring. Then I sent my fiancé in the try on the wedding band I choose for him to get it sized and they lost that paperwork as well. Also, when my fiancé went to try on the ring I picked out they gave him the wrong ring to try on. Then we both had to take a day off to come in a 3rd time to get him to try on the correct ring and to get him sized. I was going to purchase the ring same day except they quoted me a price $3k higher than the one they wrote down on my papers less than a month ago. I am very disappointed in the way that business is handled at this location. Not sure how you could trust a company to keep warranty information or even purchase information at this point. Being 55 years old, I have experienced lots of jewelers. But never anything like Julie. She took the time to learn our needs and find the right thing to for us. She took all the time we needed and knew her stuff. She did lots of education. And was really resourceful in finding the perfect ring for my son. My daughter in law came away with the most beautiful ring for his fiancé. We have had so many compliments. Her expertise was second to none. And she was kind and fun in helping us make some very important decisions. We also got to work with Dyllan to get cufflinks that were just perfect. He also was so kind and resourceful and took the time to help us get them engraved just the way I wanted them. All three purchases are so wonderful and meaningful to us.
