We just experienced THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ACROSS THE BOARD at the Home Goods in Lee’s Summit! The staff is so friendly and helpful. We were there for a couple of hours buying chairs, lamps, end tables and pillows. It was so impressive bc when I first got there I was asked if I needed help by someone who seemed to be a Mgr. I was looking at a desk. She was helpful. After that many times throughout our evening, we were asked if we needed help. We had picked out a big chair and ottoman and 2 younger staff members came over and asked if we wanted them to take it up front. I feel like there were several younger college age kids working there and they were FABULOUS. Informative, energetic, and so kind and helpful. They were all over the store at every turn with a smile waiting to help. A young man that helped us said when you check out I will help load this for you and he and a gal did just that. They all were well trained. Polite! Impressive! We will always only shop at this Home Goods bc of the amazing staff....

I bought a door storage cabinet and had to request assistance loading it into my car—something that should be offered after checkout for larger items. After requesting help, I noticed a crack in one of the pegs. I’ve seen defects in store products before, but this one was subtle enough that I wouldn’t have caught it without moving it. Had I not noticed it then, I would’ve brought a damaged item home.

They should have better quality control and offer prompt assistance without requiring customers to initiate every interaction. Selling defective goods and failing to provide immediate solutions shouldn’t be the norm. Some things—like ensuring product integrity and offering basic...

Today was experience was not so great. I was in the plate section, a worker was coming down the aisle with a cart so I tried to move my stroller over but she was going too fast and hit my stroller with the cart and didn’t even acknowledge she hit my stroller with my daughter in it what so ever and just kept going.
