We used Karin Ross Designs for our complete kitchen remodel, bar addition, and refacing of our fireplace. From start to finish we received fantastic service with superior communication. From the first inquiry we sent to Karin Ross Designs, we received a response nearly immediately, despite it being well outside of business hours. Karin was prompt in meeting with us to discuss our needs and budget. She was able to feed of our personal style and needs, to create a beautiful, functional space. She found the perfect balance of glam and everyday feel for our spaces. I love the glam, but have 3 teenage boys. Karin knew exactly how to combine materials to create comfortable, but stunning spaces in our home. Karin took as much time with us as needed to discuss each and every detail of our kitchen. Every cabinet was designed with our personal use in mind to make the space function as efficiently as possible. She took the time to explain the pros and cons of each item we wanted in our kitchen. Because she is a consummate professional, with a full understanding of the current trends and materials available, her industry insight was indispensable. Before the first day of demo she spent countless hours with us to make sure we had a plan in place that exceeded our initial expectations. Our meetings were always productive and she stayed organized and had already pulled several samples of products she thought we might be interested in prior to our arrival. Once on sight, the crew was on time each day, respectful of our home, and worked diligently, paying attention to even the smallest details throughout the project. The construction area was cleaned up as much as possible each day, with trash disposed of, scrap materials removed, floors swept as needed, tools put away, etc. During particularly messy periods of work, or those with heavy fumes, they secured the job site with plastic to eliminate contamination to other areas of the home. As work continued, Karin maintained excellent communication - responding quickly to texts and phone calls, as well as continuing to make herself for additional meetings as needed. While I've yet to have any construction project be 100% smooth sailing, Karin was quick to tend to minor changes that needed to be addressed as the project progressed. She handled them with immediate attention, providing multiple options for us to choose from, and working quickly to have them implemented. As we went through the planning process and made our selections, she had the foresight to place material orders, so we didn't have delays during construction waiting for supplies to arrive. For some items that were still experiencing delays due to Covid and its supply chain disruption, she advocated relentlessly for us and was able to expedite even when it seemed impossible. Karin Ross Designs has been fantastic to work with. From our first meeting when Karin and Nick came to the house and we talked through what we were thinking, to selection of the design that Karin created for us, to the item selection (tile, cabinetry, fixtures, etc.), everything was well thought out and coordinated. Karin and Nick took care of everything: coordinating plumbing, electrical, roofers, windows, carpet, ordering everything we needed for the project, etc. The guys (Jerry, Johnny, and Tony) that did the majority of the work on the house were extremely professional, friendly and focused on the work at hand. They were here every day at 8 AM. If we had any questions, concerns or requests, Karin was very accommodating, and the guys on site would take action.

We had two projects in one. The smaller project involved remodeling a hall bath, while keeping the existing footprint of the room. It turned out great! The larger project involved removing and adding walls and windows, completely reconfiguring plumbing, electrical and air to reimagine our master suite. Karin and her team were a dream to work with for our ground floor remodel! From the very beginning, the process was streamlined, convenient, and tailored to what we needed, and Karin helped us translate our vision for our house into reality. One of the reasons we wanted to work with a designer was because our house aesthetic is a little off the beaten track, and Karin was invaluable in sourcing materials and options that would match the kind of design we loved, along with anchoring our ideas into a cohesive whole that now makes the entire house flow.
