I was hoping to leave a good review when I had received the product I ordered... Unfortunately, I'll never be doing business here again, and would not recommend to anyone. Read to understand why: I wanted to diversify my purchases to smaller localized companies and decided to buy a piece for a Glock 19 gen 3, but I instead received a piece for a Glock 17 gen 1. Not really that big of a deal, just disappointing since I have an event coming up and I'm eager to complete the project. Due to my busy schedule and secluded residence, I wasn't sure when I would actually be able to send back the wrong item I received, and asked if they could send out my original order before I sent out the return so that I could finish up in time for my event. I was then met with a projection of dishonesty, stating, "if you were a repeat customer we might bend the rules a bit.". Insinuating an initial untrustworthiness among customers. (As a representative of my company, I would be willing to sacrifice a potential $35 loss to better ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business). Instead, they chose to place the burdens of their incompetences on the customer, as I ended up having to use up my personal time and gas to drive into town to purchase a printed label and shipping container to send the incorrect piece back before they would fulfill my original order, with no reimbursement or consideration. I just received the replacement piece, and they sent me the Glock 19 piece, unfortunately it is the wrong gen... I'm beyond disappointed with the customer service and distribution practices, and their lack of effort to build good client relations. At this point, I will have spent about double the money the item is worth just going through these returns with the cost of gas back and forth, as well as the cost of shipping materials coming out of my own pocket. I don't even know if I should keep wasting my time and money going back and forth trying to work with these guys and keep giving them a chance, in the hopes I'll finally get the product I originally ordered, or just take the loss myself and go to a more reliable business that actually cares about their customers and the people trying to help their business grow.
Follow up to owner response: My point exactly. You admit to multiple errors within your company and staff as a whole, and yet still try to revert the blame onto your customers. If you are consistently having 300+ company errors with your minor items to account for, it is a reflection of the poor service provided, and I cannot imagine the other terrible business practices being hidden behind closed doors. I stated it was not the initial error that provoked my review, but the follow up service. You act as though your customers do not also have lives and families to provide for, and your comments (and general lack of consideration) on the expectations around the customers private material accessibility to accommodate your errors, (printer and shipping materials), are further testimony to my review. And to everyone reading this review, all of this is coming directly from the owner of the company. This should be common sense in this day and age, but next time, you should just send the correct item (verified) with a printed label and return envelope for the customer to return, and then deal with the situation internally. This way you can avoid bad reviews, maintain repeat customers, and refrain from public chastisement of your staff. Very unprofessional. I will attach photos of the most recently shipped item to show the overlapping of the locking block (item I purchased) with the frame, preventing the pin from going through. It is not an identical product to Glock 19 gen 3. But based on the service I've received so far, I expect the owner will only continue to disregard and look for someone else to blame for their faults.
Follow up #2 Owner removed their public comment on this review, probably to escape accountability. Yet another reflection of...
Read moreI want to ammend the review I did about a month ago, to be clear not because it was inaccurate but maybe a bit harsh. I will leave the review I made at the bottom for reference to this for 1 reason, that was me publicly scolding KMT and without that reference this public apology would be pointless.
KMT, I apologize for the comment I made at the end of my earlier review. As a consumer I failed to acknowledge the fact that mistakes happened on both our parts. claiming your organization doesn't care about your products or customers wasn't fair.
I did recive the replacement slide and the provided optical mounting hardware. Might not have been in the time frame either of us wanted, but it was recived and another costum Sig build was completed. With moving inventory and opening up your new retail store some delay should have been expected.
KMT's Custom Sig Sauer slides are heavy and well built. If you want to standout and give your Sig P320 or now P365 a unique look without breaking the bank, this is it!! Not only does the BDE slide have appealing look, the compensated slide when paired with the appropriate length barrel it 100% functional and reduces muzzle rise.
I have put over 600 rounds down range in the last couple of weeks. I have not had any problems out of the performance of the slide or spiral flutted barrel. I have quite enjoyed allowing people at the range asking me about my build and the compliments I get after letting others shoot my build.
My only complaint is that it doesn't come in a compact size!
Earlier Review After purchasing a P320 slide I quickly learned the description of the optic mounting screws on their site was not correct. I spent hours hunting for a screw that fit. While doing this I broke a tiny 4 40 screw off in the slide. It was advertised as a 6 32 tapped hole. Torqued at 11inch lbs, the 4 40 broke. They told me to send it to them they would fix or replace it. Well it's been over a month I don't have my slide, they don't communicate, and they don't seem to care about the products they put out or their customers. Do with that...
Read moreI've ordered quite a few times from km tactical and have mostly been extremely happy with the extreme quality 4 the price however if something goes wrong or they make a mistake good luck! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE LEE! Mainly I'm referring to a recent 2 slide order. For instance on my last order of 2 Glock slides 1 was out of stock. Lee got back in a few days and said we can give u a g17 slide or refund. I responded immediately that I needed a g21 slide and would except any. He sent back the exact same EMAIL ignoring me. Over the next few days I wrote 3 short emails explaining again that a g21 slide like the 1 I ordered is what I need including pics of cheaper 1s from their website I would take instead JUST to be ez. Low and behold after about a week and a half after ordering they shipped a g17 slide with no other responses. Geez...Thanx Lee! I was refunded for the slides price but somehow they keep the tax so my $85 g17 slide COST OVER $100. $108.56 PERCISELY. THATS SHIPPING of $8 plus $15 tax! The g21 slide is still in stock for other future victims. I ordered another 1 after the week and a half of limbo and it's on its way, but I don't appreciate the aggravation, getting ripped off on tax and doubling the shipping cost. I realize your probably really busy Lee, but I recommend you either just do what your going to do without the week and a half delay or try reading a sentence. Sending the same email again while completely ignoring the customers very simple wish is truly the most callous way of handling the situation and in this case earned this long scathing review for something I bet has become all too routine. Thanks...
