After my dads passing my mom ordered a sterling silver pendant for me. She called to inquire about what the monogramming would look like and was told the custom monogramming of the initials would be in the regular order and all letters would be the same size. I got the pendant and the last initial J is significantly large than the other two letters. My mom called to let Legacy Touch know how dissatisfied we were with the monogramming and see what resolution they could offer to this issue. She was told that it appeared that way because that is the font they use which is in direct contrast to what she was told previously that all the letter would be the same size. The only resolution they offered was to remake the pendant at 50% of the original cost, that is an absolutely absurd resolution to the issue! This is a sterling silver pendant that cost $250 and did not arrive looking as described and the option to fix it is for us to fork out another $175 to have another one remade. This company should be standing behind it's product and making sure that they offer a clear ordering process that includes a proof of the final product and that the information they are relaying to their customers is accurate. In lieu of that happening they should ensure that their customer is getting the product they ordered and was described to them. I am unbelievably disappointed in the quality of the pendant and the customer...
Read moreWhen I received my Mom's fingerprint urn necklace it looked nothing like the picture shown. First, the quality of the fingerprint was terrible. It barely looks like a fingerprint, more like a bunch of scratches. Second, the stone was not the same as pictures represent. I particularly chose the piece because I like the opacity of the stone shown. What I received was a cabochon, clear purple stone, that I doubt is an actual amethyst stone, no flat surface as shown so that was a huge disappointment. Third, the chain was impossible to hold open long enough to clasp it. My necklace stone/urn has fallen off 2 or 3 times because the clasp is so flimsy. This necklace cost me over $350 and it looks like I bought it from five and dime store. The company basically said tough luck, your funeral director sent a poor quality print so that's the reason and we will not credit or refund your purchase. I was completely ripped off and I urge you NOT to buy from LegacyTouch.com. You can buy nicer pieces from many online jewelry resources for memorial pieces at a much more affordable price point. At the very least, why don't they teach their associated funeral directors how to take and submit quality fingerprints. My Mom was cremated so there was no second chance to get her latent print correct. The company couldn't care less that I was so...
Read moreWe lost our mom last April and decided to get the fingerprint pendant and keychain. We are very happy with what we received. In January we lost our dad. We wanted to get the same in his memory. I thought I ordered the same pendant as moms, but when I received it today, it is twice the size! I noticed that the price seemed different, but Just thought my memory was incorrect. I couldn't get my initial order to come up so I couldn't verify what I purchased. I wanted them to match and I will never wear this at the size it is. I contacted the company and they informed me that there was nothing I could do. They said one is a charm and one is a pendant. Since they don't come with a chain, and both the pendant and charm pages show a charm bracelet, I had no way to tell that there was a difference. They did offer me a discount to purchase what I actually wanted, but I cannot afford to purchase a second item and just leave a $300 piece of jewelry sit in my jewelry box. Unfortunately, that is where it will sit anyway as it is much to big to wear with the one I have from my mom as I had planned. I can't complain about the item itself, just that it's a lot of money wasted on something I...
