Meiners Market — Local services in Lee's Summit

I just visited the Meiners gas station and had the worst customer management exchange. Our family has 6 vehicles and lives within 1 mile of of Meiners. We have always frequented this business because the Meiners attended st Thomas More where my grandmother was the school principal. No more-my mother went to fill up her tank and had difficulty with the pump. She tried another pump and it would take the credit card and give the okay to fill the tank and then turn off. When she went in to ask for help the taller clerk told her to go to quik trip. The other clerk was tiny and looked to be 12-14 and although he was giggling…he told the taller clerk” come on man you at least have to try”. The clerk never made eye contact with her and repeated “go to quik trip that’s where I get my gas”! We will be going to quik trip. This happened at 18:10 on 08/21/23 check...

You need new management here. I walked in the door to an employee quitting because two employees, one I presume was the manager, were making fun of her and treating her very poorly. These two ganged up on her making fun of her forcing her to try to defend herself. This was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen in a work place let alone somewhere that you have customers. Needless to say I walked out of the store and went to the gas station down the road. If I was that employee I would sue for harassment. On Sunday September 14th, I walked in to get a can of tobacco right before the store closed. I was immediately judged due to my preference in tobacco by manufacturing date for freshness by the very young, chunky, immature girl, who wears too much makeup and works the register late sometimes. She was very rude and honestly shouldn’t have a job in customer service with her immature conduct with customers. This wasn’t the first time either. Does Meiner’s still want my business or not? I can assure you guys that quicktrip employees never insult their customers...
