I came in to buy some transmission fluid for my Chevy Traverse. The employee was named Sky and he was so helpful. I almost bought the wrong bottle of fluid, but Sky double-checked that he was giving me the correct information and then helped me find the correct product. At the checkout, I made mention of how helpful he was and that my son is interested in working on or around cars when he gets in high school. Sky told me that O'Reilly's hires at 16 years of age and that he is 16! I couldn't believe it! I would have guessed his age at 20 years old (at least) because of the confidence he had when helping me find the right product. I am super impressed with the help I received and even more so impressed by this young man. He was professional and knowledgeable. Good job to O'Reilly's for opening their hiring process to young adults like Sky. This is such an awesome way for younger adults to get comfortable around car parts.

Read moreI will start this out by saying that I go to this O'Reilly's location practically every time I need any auto parts, and they do a good job. Their customer service is not 100%, but I'm sure that there's so much they have to deal with, know, remember, and memorize that it can be hard to do everything, especially if they do not know your situation. That being said, I had called in a handful of hours ago to have two brake pistons and two brake caliper kits (a boot, a gasket, and a bleeder cap), and only one caliper kit was ordered. I told him I was full of stupid questions, since my husband had just passed away and he had taken care of all our vehicles. I'm sorry to say I left the store without spending a cent because Scott told me, honestly, I didn't need to purchase the items I thought I needed, but the entire staff would be there happy to assist me when I did.
