Topsy's — Local services in Lee's Summit

I believe it goes without saying but I'm going to say it any way that Topsy's is a part of the fabric of Kansas City. It's been around as long as I can remember and I even worked at one way back in the day. So it's nostalgic for me. Don't be trying to guage my age y'all. Mind ya business - not mine! IJS! 😉

Any way I was recently in Lee's Summit and saw this one so y'all know I HAD to stop in. Andrea met me with a beautiful smile and an amazing personality as soon as I hit the door. Her customer service was outstanding. We even shared some laughs 😂 🤣 when my husband popped in the door talkin' about he wanted what I was getting. Now didn't I just ask you if you wanted something before I got out the truck and was told "No" but hey I digress. I mean a person does have a right to change their mind. Just glad it wasn't me this time. Lol!

I proceeded to get two bags of cheese popcorn 🍿 and I wanted me a good ol' Limeade. They make some of the best and with some extra lime - BAAAAAAABAAAAY! However, I was told at my last dental appointment that I needed to watch the enamel on my front teeth. So CHILE I'm attempting to be good - fa now!!!! OKAY!! A Limeade will be in my future though.

They offer a wide selection of delectable treats from popcorn to ice cream, candy, chocolate 🍫, confections, gifts and everything in between honey. Hint, hint a one stop shop for holiday gifting!

The store has been remodeled and they did an excellent job! Check out the pictures. In close, the store is immaculate and clean, they offer a huge variety of products, Andrea did her thing with providing an excellent customer service experience, the popcorn was too tasty and yeah Topsy's is a legend. I hadn’t been to Topsy’s in a long time. Thought I’d go grab some for a friend who’s never had Topsy’s. Brittany greeted me when I first got there. She let me pick out which pecan clusters I wanted. She took time bagging up my items nice and neat. While making my back of popcorn, I also noticed how she made sure each layer had salt and butter. Not just dumped on top like other places! Highly recommend if you need a popcorn fix. Also, my bag was still warm when I got it. Not cold and...

I called this location on Saturday. They said they opened at 9 on Sunday. I confirmed the time since it was going to be on a Sunday. I arrived at 9, but the store didn't open until 12:00. When I finally was able to make my purchase of 4 cans, I asked for a bag to help me carry the cans out. The staff told me the sacks didn't fit and I was left to take care...
