I donât normally leave reviews, but after my experience at this gym, I feel like people should know what theyâre getting into. One time when I was working out with a friend, we brought our bags with us like we always do. We werenât in anyoneâs way, we werenât spreading our stuff all over the place â our bags were tucked right next to us at our little workout station, not blocking anything, not making a mess. Basically just there so we had them nearby.
Out of nowhere, the owner (the woman, who is almost never around unless itâs convenient for her) comes out from the side of the building and starts yelling at us. And I mean yelling. She goes off about how our bags are âtrashing up the gymâ and acting like we were totally disrespecting the place, when in reality, they were literally just sitting by us. It was completely unnecessary and super unprofessional.
Itâs honestly laughable. Instead of handling it like an adult and just saying, âHey, can you move your bags to the side?â she made it a whole scene, like we were doing something horribly wrong. For someone who is supposedly in charge of the gym, it was a joke of a reaction. It really gave me the impression that she doesnât actually care about the members â she just wants to throw her weight around when she decides to show up.
And thatâs another thing: sheâs barely ever present. You donât see her around putting in the effort to make the gym better. The employees arenât really visible either, so most of the time it feels like the place just runs itself. When she is around, itâs not to help, itâs to nitpick or cause problems like this.
Now, to be fair, the other owner (the bald guy) is actually pretty cool. If you need something, go talk to him instead of the lady. He treats people with respect, listens, and doesnât act like heâs above everyone. Big difference in energy and attitude.
At the end of the day, I think the gym itself could be decent, but ownership makes a huge difference in how a place feels. And with her, it feels hostile and unwelcoming. I honestly wouldnât recommend dealing with her at all. If youâre considering this gym, just know what youâre getting into. If you catch the bald guy, youâll probably be fine. If you have to deal with the lady, good luck, because sheâs an absolute...
Read moreI was refunded my other 4 charges but now being harrassed by his wife to take my review off of Facebook. Only when I threatened to go to the news did they give me my money back. All they had to do was refund all 5 when they refunded my one in Nov 22nd. Instead it took numerous emails for 10 days to these back. I also tried to cancel membership but noone is at the gym to talk to. Their phone line is also down. If you decide to join here watch your bank statements is all I say. Other then that the gym is nice and convenient and reasonable priced. All the trainers are nice as well.
JUST WATCH YOUR BANK ACCOUNT.
According to other people Bobby is double or even triple charging them. I am one of those people and I have asked him to cancel my membership but it hasn't been cancelled. Guess what I was charged 2 times in Nov. He refunded me for Nov 14th but still owes me for charges in July Aug and Oct. I am now out 107 because if 4 additional times. I am going to go to fox 4 problem solvers because I am not the only one this is happening to. How hard is it to refund people money that is theres. And to put people into over draft fees is absurd. I can understand one time due to glitch but 6 times in 4 months. He is going to continue to take money from people and not refund and of course you cant cancel. I really cant change my bank information because all my Bill's...
Read moreHello â Iâve been going to this gym for about 3 ½ to 4 years now. I love the actual gym itself, but the main issue (and the reason for my low rating) is the complete lack of support and communication.
Recently, I added my parents to my account and ended up getting double and even triple charged. When I looked through other reviews, I saw that Iâm not the only one whoâs had issues with billing mistakes. On top of that, the gym doesnât send out emails or communicate about these problems, which just makes it more frustrating.
It wouldnât even be as big of a deal if someone could simply answer the phone. But whether you call, leave a message, or show up, it takes almost a week to get any response. At the gym itself, thereâs hardly ever anyone at the front desk. Iâve even seen potential new members waiting outside, knocking on the door or calling repeatedly, trying to sign up â and no one answers. I honestly assume many of them end up taking their business to another gym.
The gym facilities are solid, but the lack of staff presence, poor communication, and billing issues are constant problems. After being open for several years, itâs time to get this figured out â whether that means hiring more employees, ensuring someone is consistently available, or at the very least, picking...
