The problem with this post is that it is open to the public. A VFW Post should stay exclusive to veterans of foreign wars. Also, this being a flagship post for the state of Missouri I have expected a lot more than I've seen. I have been a member of this post for several years and I'm going to be moving on from it. The few times I have been inside it was cold and unwelcoming towards me. It's the reoccurring old man's bar theme. A lot of vfws would rather not get with the times. Most of the times any sort of meal service that they do is subpar at least as far as I have seen. Oftentimes the vfws are not willing to change and I truly believe it's an organization that will die off...

Great place with good people! The new food menu is outstanding! It is limited to Tuesday's, Friday's and Saturday's and I believe some Thursday's, but don't quote me! You can't beat the food...
