I was reading the Hippo 🦛Press 📰 newspaper and came across an article about fall festivals. My friend and I decided to come to this farm. I've driven by sooo many times! We, my friend and kids and I, had fun! The tractor 🚜 ride, my daughter's fave, Dinosaur 🦕 Trail, my son's fave, apple 🍎 orchards, doughnuts, friendly animals and staff, pumpkin picking, my friend wanted to buy a pumpkin for her grandson, and great 👍 scenery and views, my favorite! The view while riding the tractor 🚜 was great 👍! I never knew there was so much to see 🙈. We went to the Harvest Weekend and had a great 👍 time. Free 🆓 parking 🅿️. Bathrooms were in good condition and had a baby 🍼 changing table. Update: November 2024; The annual "Haunted Overload" for the first time. It was okay. There was a lot of effort put into this theme park and the staff and actors were both helpful and good at their jobs. The big issue was the long line to get in! It took a while to get to the part of the trail with the "jump scares". That is where the pace picked up. Actors in costume entertained people while we waited. There wasn't gore but there were plenty of spooky decorations and the actors were good at imitating statues, until you got too close! Plenty of parking 🅿️ and it is organized. A few people complained about how the pedestrian 🚸 traffic was managed but I had no issues. There were lines for the porta potties. Prices for this event were reasonable. It is popular so expect long lines. Dress for the cold 🥶. I recommend a visit...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a truly spine-tingling Halloween adventure, this place in Lee, New Hampshire delivers on all fronts. From the moment you arrive, the eerie ambiance sets the tone, with fog rolling through and haunting music filling the air. The attention to detail is incredible—every corner has something waiting to scare you, whether it’s a sudden jump scare or a more subtle, creeping terror. The haunted trail is the highlight of the farm. It takes you through abandoned barns, and creepy structures where actors are lurking, ready to scare you when you least expect it. The actors were in top form—committed to their roles and genuinely terrifying. The storylines they create at each stop added depth to the experience, immersing you in a world of supernatural suspense.
One thing I appreciated was the balance between scare intensity and fun. While there were plenty of moments that made my heart race, there were also lighter touches of humor that kept it enjoyable. It’s perfect for both seasoned horror fans and those just looking for a fun fright.
For families, the farm also offers a less intense daytime version of the trail, making it accessible for younger visitors too.
If you’re in New Hampshire this Halloween season, this place is a must-visit. It’s a fantastic mix of fear, fun, and fall ambiance that will leave you talking about it long after you...
Read moreWent here with my parents for the first time last Saturday. It was quaint and cute on first glance, though we noticed right away there was little signage to direct you to trails etc., but we worked around that. Decided to buy some bagged apples on the way out since it is past prime picking season. The incline to the walking trails is ridiculous, even for 3 healthy people who like to be outside, and overall there isn't much to them. Walked through the orchard on the way back and made the mistake of taking the gravel path downhill. I slipped on some loose stones and fell, and someone who worked at the farm saw it happen and rushed away as quickly as she could! Limped back to the car with a badly skinned/bruised knee, cleaned it out, and my dad went to buy the apples and 3 donuts, which were overpriced for what we got - I can get a better apple cider donut at Dunkin for half the cost, same with the apples at the grocery store. To add insult to injury, on Monday I wound up waiting 3 hours at urgent care to be treated for a severe infection in my knee wound and I'm now on 2 antibiotics for 7 days. Doctor had no idea how that happened since I washed it out, unless pesticides and/or excrement were involved. Will never come back here, and I highly recommend going to Emery Farm in Durham instead - that's what we should've done in the...
