Every time I call the fort polk maple terrace community center or the corvias line about a issue it takes forever we get the run around our refrigerator is rusted and we needed small patches done I call multiple times to get a maintenance person to come out they basically tell you to wait until you move out so you can be charged for it what the point of have maintenance on standby if all they do it walk around An talk when I came to the community center I seen several people from maintenance in the building when they said no one was available to do the patches it’s ridiculous that we pay our BAH for this because when you need them nobody come or they give you a hassle to get the help you need I told my husband we will never stay on base again not to mention It took them forever to replace my fire alarm 🚨 that needed to be replaced since 2002 it’s just sad at this point housing on base isn’t worth it because you never get help when you need it you go to the community center an everybody is just sitting around talking an laughing it up what about the tenants that call multiple times An need help or what about I called for touch up paint instead of them telling me they are out they say they have it I drive all they way there An they are laughing an talking just for her to come back An say oh I’m sorry we are out you can come back later we’ll have some really why not just tell me that over the phone it was an inconvenience to me An my time that could have been avoided by someone getting off their tails am going to check if they had any I’m the first place this place it just a total disappointment for me I just feel like they don’t care about military housing An that just want our money An not to actually help or actually fix the problems in your house An I hope that eventually everything will change because these houses or not up to standard as...

Not bad, but had a lot of issues with cheap parts that kept needing replaced over the last several years. Oven barely worked, but they wouldn't replace it, probably 20 years old, and had several electrical issues with the hearing elements and damaged several expensive pans. The cabinets are from the late 80's that have a lot of unusable space. Be very thorough on your move in inspection. Every little stain on the carpets, any deficiency needs to be annotated or you'll pay to have it patched or fixed when you move out. Check the yard, holes from previous owners pets will be your problem after you sign. Normal wear and tear is very vague, high traffic areas will count against you if you aren't careful. Roads in maple terrace are attrocious. Potholes that can pop tires and wear on your vehicle are everywhere.

If that doesn't bother you, maybe the constant roach battle might. Or your neighbors garbage disposal waste coming up yours(duplex house is connected)

Community office is a lovely building, and they have a nice workout area. Since we have moved in the we've had a couple of problems with workers, and the way they will handle a situation. But I guess they feel a since of specialty since they work in there.... who knows.. cause theywill be so nice one minute... the next be rude real quick. I think they need a whole new staff in all honesty. Cause even the managers act like you are a speck of dirt.... Their nice to you if you need a air filter or something small, but once it involves something else ..... HA! ...
