One moment they love having my boys, saying they love them and how good they are and the next they're all of a sudden a problem?
I have had several conversations with the owners regarding my dog and his pulling and even gotten tips on what leashes to buy, and even bought what was recommended. He is an 85 pound full grown Husky who pulls when he gets excited and for 3 years it was a non-issue.
We moved way out of town and still drove multiple times a week to take them to daycare because our dogs loved it and they seems to love our boys. They have been boarded there multiple times, and even had their birthdays there. The fact that last week I would've given 5 stars says something.
If they had an issue, it should've been privately discussed PRIOR to CONFIRMING their daycare. If they didn't want them there, they should have DENIED the request and sent a message. Not allow us to drive all the way out there to then find out that one of our dogs isn't welcome.
And yes, you did clap your hands rudely trying to force me to answer a question when all I wanted was to pick up my dog who wasn't welcome. You called me rude and disrespectful for wanting to protect my dog? I would do anything to protect them, it doesn't matter what species they are.
Then to act like I was some sort of thief by saying I needed to pay as if we have never not paid.
We have always praised this placed and recommended it. We were royal customers, and felt like we had a good relationship and were able to communicate like adults. We even brought them more customers and yet they didn't even take the time to speak to us privately. It's almost as if she wanted a scene and make another victim post of FB. I should've listened to the people she's blasted on social media. They saw her true colors before I did because I was blinded by how happy...
Read moreI genuinely cannot say enough wonderful things about Crate Escape, the owners, and the staff who work there. We utilize their services for doggy day care, overnight boarding, and grooming (all of which are extremely reasonably priced). I have a 10 month old Australian Shepherd who was born blind, so when it came to leaving him somewhere he wasnât familiar with I was a little concerned. However, Pam, Matt, and the rest of the staff take excellent care of him even though his blindness can prove to be challenging at times. Heâs been going to Crate Escape for about 6 months now and it has been such a blessing for him and I both! He loves going and getting to play with other dogs and I love being able to send him somewhere that I know without a doubt he is well taken care of. I love that I can shoot them a Facebook message checking up on Fury while heâs there and they are super responsive and get back to me quickly (usually with pictures of Fury). We are so lucky to have Crate Escape in our community. I wouldnât trust any other boarding facility...
Read moreWe brought our husky Mishka to this place for 3 years and our newest addition, Koda, for a year, with zero incident. That is until this past Friday, when I dropped the huskies off and Pam informed me that Mishka would no longer be welcome because he pulls and she doesn't want anyone getting hurt. That's understandable but we've been coming here for 3 years and now he's a problem? Besides isn't that what insurance at any business is for? I've been hurt on the job and had insurance to help me out, just as I suspect many of us have. Most of the employees at Crate Escape are part-time female HS students. You couple that with Pam's remarks and it leads me to believe this business purposely hires young HS staff as part-time so they don't have to offer insurance or any benefits and thus save money. If thats the case then Crate Escape is using poor business practices. It is what it is. They destroyed a 3 year relationship over nothing. We'll be taking our business to Louisville...
