I went in Dollar general at Delco yesterday and I got about $50 worth of stuff in the basket walked up to the cash register where there was no one in sight I looked up to see a girl that was supposed to be working the counter outside talking to somebody in a car and smoking a cigarette so I waited a moment and I hit the Bell just in case there was someone in the back and she just continued to talk so I put my basket on the counter and walked out as I was walking past she turns and makes the comment to me (WHAT? WAS THE LINE TOO LONG FOR YOU TO WAIT!!) I stopped turned around but then decided it was best to just say nothing and walk off so I got in my car and all the way home that's all I could think about and I just don't understand how people like that can keep their jobs! I've lived here my entire life and I'm now 38 years old and I thought that my generation had gone downhill with respect and courtesy but it has really gotten worse over the years. My daughter n I asked to use their bathroom, they didn't have one for the public which was weird because the store in my local area has a public bathroom, but understand if they are preventing virus spreading.
