Lemoore Golf Course — Local services in Lemoore

I played the course for the first time while visiting family on Friday September 16. The course was in overall good shape. Some of the greens are very big with nice curves. Noted the lip of the cups were not groomed which caused several missed putts. You have to hit almost dead center to sink a putt. Also noted numerous ball marks and debris on the greens that needed repair to no fault of the course greens keeper. (Fix your ball marks guys and gals!!) Front nine featured some very narrow fairways which proved unfriendly to a fade or draw. The back nine opened up some and the water holes provided a fair challenge. Overall I would play the course again when in the area. A suggestion would be to provide a map of the course, of some signage, that would assist a person, not from the area, with finding the holes on the back nine. Always nice to get out and play a few rounds of golf. It's a pretty well kept course, with lots of corners to get around. The course is challenging, but fun and enjoyable. I would recommend going very early and walking the course 9 holes only... If you to 18, then be sure to get a cart, and throw some sunscreen on no matter what. The sun out here is crazy hot during the summer. The food/ beverages are a bit pricey so depending on you have a few snacks or something else lined up to eat. The course does say "Please no outside food or drink", but it does not say "No outside food/drink"... You may have to read between the lines for that. Over all a great time when you can go with other people. Be sure to get in a few practice swings at the range, and a few puts before...

Drove from Fresno, ca to try this course with my Bro in law for his bday. We got there early to hit at the range and eat. I am not sure who was running the pro shop, but I ended up waiting in line 3 times because the guy didnt want to give me a cart to go to the parking lot and get our clubs because he was concerned we take off lol! The guy was annoying, but more importantly terribly inefficient. He was trying to pawn a topless cart off to some guy in front of me (what a joke, like somebody riding wants to be in the valley sun all day), but I digress, the course was ugly on the front nine, reminded me of Airways in Fresno, and the back was nice. Better of going to Visalia if you are driving a distance...
