My wife and I live about 45 mins away and decided to come here after seeing many positive reviews online. There's some nice features this park offers, but we were extremely frusterated overall at our time here and left disappointed.
We arrived here not long after they opened which I highly recommend! For parking, they ask for a donation or canned good item which goes to a food bank...very cool and nice touch. The park fills up like many other haunts but getting here early allowed us to gauge lines and visit attractions with minimal wait times. Attractions are $15, $45 for "all attraction pass" and I believe $60 or $65 for a skip the line pass. They have food tents with all food and drink you'd expect, and a music tent with beer & mixed drinks. I saw no signs that said cash only for alcohol which was confusing because everything else you could use plastic in the park?
We started off at the terror maze zone. We would NEVER recommend doing this and it had ZERO to do with being scared or having any fear of being trapped. We spent an "hour" inside literally running into the same 4 or 5 actors which were useless to us, and after hearing from other people that they were told to look for clues when "our" only instruction was what not to do, and what safe word to call would've drastically helped out! If you were looking to get people pissed off and frusterated you guys nailed it! But after an hour we called out the phrase because we were tired and the strobe lights and thick fog was making us sick and giving us a headache. We had to find a large group that was being led out since no actors would help us leave after us calling the phrase (which i don't understand since that was our initial instruction to do when entering??)
The haunted hayride was a nice change of pace. It was a fairly long ride, and the scenes were pretty elaborate and didn't look cheap. Actors were well done running out and on the tractor, good for kids and adults. I know tix say this but please warn ppl about the noise. The girl mentioned about strobe lights, but when ur sitting on the edge of the trailer and a guy lights up a machine gun effect like 5 feet in front of u I need a sound warning because for young kids they need earplugs. Also, would've liked less narration from the girl, because sometimes no noise is actually better for setting up scares than a story which basically sets up everytime someone is gonna jump out.
The haunted house was okay. The actors here were more interactive and we appreciated it. Once again thou after running around in the corn maze it was more of the same here. I would recommend this over the maze thou! They had zombie paintball but in the hours we were there I didn't see anybody doing this nor did we? They also had some fireball dancers, a bonfire and some interesting movies with nude scenes lol.
My wife also wanted to add that she didn't see enough actors around the property trying to interact or scare people. You'd think there would be more...since we went during a prime time wknd night that was fairly warm weather in October and dry. Overall, the park has alot of features, and you can definitely tell some money and time was put into it...just not sure thou the execution is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely one of the worst experiences Iāve ever had in my life and Iām not even just talking about haunted houses. First, I get there and thereās nowhere to park so I have to put my car at the ice cream shops down the road and walk, which is very life-threatening for me. Next, I finally get there and they make me pay the parking fee anyways. At this point, Iām just disgusted, but whatever I finally get into the park. I decided to go through the forest and maze first. Iām trying to walk though and all of a sudden, I slip on wet ground. Now, usually this wouldnāt be an issue because it would only take me about five minutes to get back on my feet, but then one of those people working there decided to rip my pants off shove a stick where the sun donāt shine. After I finally get on my feet and push out the stick, I walk into the maze. I couldnāt see anything, not a lack of visibility as in there was nobody. Itās whatever I continue on to the next attraction and the hayride. Everywhere I looked literally everyone was on their phone, not acting. This one guy with no make up on was walking right in front of me and I did not give him any attention at all, and he got so mad. He pulled off his mask and just pulled out his phone and walked away. There was his animatronic I saw ahead and I got excited, but then we turned and went the complete opposite direction from it. I also think that they ran over one of the people working there, but hey, itās whatever. Finally, I get the castle and boy that I regret this one the most. With the bare minimum expectations, I still had high anticipations for the castle because it was the highest rated. I literally couldnāt see anything. And you would swear I was at a Sean Combs party from the amount of times I got touched there. Somebody even sprayed me with baby oil. People started piling up behind me like it was an intersection and telling me to hurry up, but itās not my fault. I have a medical condition. I decided to cut my losses and pay $15 for a small thing of fries that I ate instantly and did not feel satiated by. I finally make the dangerous track back to my car. Unfortunately, I found out that it was being impound because it was parked where it wasnāt supposed to be. Save your...

This place has some positives but a lot of negatives for me overall. First, the haunted house (Castle of the dead), is amazing. It's fun, with a scare around ever corner. The other two attractions, (Forrest of darkness, terror maze) were not as good as the haunted house, but they were as equally entertaining with great animatronics located inside of both. The hayride wasn't set to be scary more so entertaining and like a fun vibe. The part that I dislike the most completely was survive the night. This is my first time doing survive the night and I would never do it again. I do not mind being harassed, messed with, dragged out of my tent, or when the actors are straight up doing their job. The only thing I do mind is when the workers come to you intoxicated asking if you have any drugs, weed or alcohol, and then stealing some of my personal belongings (which I didn't get back) to get a reaction out of you. I even overheard someone in their tent next to me get something taken from them. The scavenger hunt was a complete disaster. I understand it is supposed to be difficult, but some order would be appreciated when going through the entire scavenger hunt. The point of a scavenger hunt it's for it to be hard to find the artifacts, but the disorganization in the way to achieve the goal was terrible. If this is planned out months in advance, I truly do not understand how there's so much disorganization. Even some of the workers were confused. Speaking of the workers, the majority of them were nice, but some of them were very rude and unprofessional. I understand playing your part or not breaking character but these are paying customers who are here to interact with you. I also thought for the $85 price range that I paid the interactive part would be more intense, but overall I found myself bored and uninterested. I see the vision that scarefest scream park is trying to go towards, but overall this entire event was a...
