Nice customer service very friendly woman. Answered any questions I had about the vehicle I wanted. I was told they were waiting on a part for it to be fixed and she got right on the line with the mechanic to figure out when it could be fixed, which is the same day I visited. Though I couldn't wait for it, I was told I could put a deposit down on the vehicle before I purchased it. I will update upon purchase of the vehicle. Edit: I've noticed many problems with my vehicle after having owned it for several months that should have been addressed by the seller. The scanner they used "couldn't" pick up any codes for the vehicle despite the engine light being on. My 100 dollar scanner picked up all codes in seconds. I was missing a wheel stud, a very essential part of the vehicle especially when traveling over 50 mph. The fluid in the power steering reservoir was the wrong kind, ATF was used instead of actual power steering fluid; which I know belongs in the vehicle. The radio wasn't installed which I did myself. My passenger seat wasn't bolted fully to the floor, having multiple young family members this concerned me very much. I knew there were problems with the vehicle and I knew I could fix any that might arise. This is an okay place to get a car quickly, but be more aware of your purchase than me. At my purchase date they only accept checks, and money orders. No cards which...
Read moreI was there today with my 2011 Jeep Liberty that ran great. I talked to the lady about trading it. She said we could have a clean trade. I was gonna trade for a 2007 Buick. We bring our trade car up so they can test drive and we could test drive the Buick. We get into the Buick turn it on and a loud noise comes from the vents. We proceeded to test drive the car and the wheels were shaking the entire car and the car was making odd noises and the speakers were blown. We get back and we’re like if we were to even think about it it would have to be a clean trade. The guy refused to do the clean trade claiming our car ran funny. Our car? I’m only trading to save on gas. We are lucky enough we didn’t make the deal. Don’t make deals with the lady she doesn’t make the decisions she’s leading you on. The Buick had over 265,000 miles on it compared to my Jeep which had 159,000 miles. They didn’t even know that the gas cap locked and they didn’t have the key for it and they claimed it had keyless entry yet no key fob. This place is a joke. Take your business else where. I would compare this place to...
Read moreI purchased a 2018 chevy cruze from 381 motors in lenzburg, IL. The car was a manual transmission with only 122,000 miles. I was told the slave cylinder was replaced by them and that the clutch was inspected. Two days after I purchased the car, it was shifting really bad. I tried getting in touch with them for two days and got nowhere. I ended up taking the car to the chevy dealership to find out what the problem was. The mechanic informed me that they (381 motors) had installed the clutch plate backwards and it would need to be replaced. This ended up costing me $2000. 381 motors would not stand behind their vehicle they had sold me. This vehicle even fell within the "Illinois implied vehicle warranty " I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING...
