WARNING- PLEASE READ. James the owner of Jame's TV and Audio Repair is one of the rudest and unprofessional people in the industry. I was provided James through Assurion warrenty serivce. My first intial conversation with James was that he was scheduled to come out on a Saturday to pick up my product. James left me a voicemail stating that Saturday was inconvenient for him and that Satruday will not work, to call him back and schedule another day for pick up. I called James and let him know that monday would work if Saturday would not work for him. James showed up one hour late in a passenger van that had been spray painted with no help assisting him to carry the product out. James did not ask but insisted I help him carry the product out. I asked him did he have any idea when the service would be completed he let me know that he did not know but he would not return the product until he had another service in my area because it was not convenient for him to come to my address. Again I did not call him or schedule his service. I made a complaint with Assurion on behalf of James unprofessionalism and rude behavior and they assured me it was taken care of. When he returned with the product the following Saturday he then again demanded my niece who was watching my 1-3-5 year old children to assist him carrying in the product. While assisting him my 3 year old son got out of the house and had almost got to the road while she was stuck assisting James. I gave James a call that evening wanting to follow up with his rude behavior and unprofessionalism. He took it upon his self not to return my call until 10:40 pm. Eastern time and call back to back and left a voicemail. I returned his call the following day during normal business hours and wanted to express my concerns. James began to yell at me and said that he was never rude to me and that I was to high on the mountain. I told James that I had only treated him with respect as well as everyone else in my household but where as we could not come up with a resolution I would follow up and file an additional complaint with Assurion which I did after speaking with him. Prior to getting off the phone with James, James continued to raise his voice and told me "I was putting his Fuc** job on the line" and hung up on me. PLEASE TAKE THIS REVIEW INTO DEEP CONSIDERSATION BEFORE CHOOSING JAMES'S TV AND AUDIO REPAIR. After researching a repair business, I called to confirm his hours and location and was asked, "how did you get my #?" I explained I'd obtained it from the internet. He replied, " then all my information is there !" Took the ride to see him with the appliance, paid the nonrefundable assessment deposit and let him know I wasn't in a hurry. Okay, weeks passed, no updates. I called and was told, "I can't be calling customers with status updates. Did I call you? I'll let you know when I'm done!' Okay...weeks go by again then he leaves a voicemail with an exorbitant price for the repair! Not worth the cost of the appliance. After not responding to him, he calls and offers to lower the price showing me he'd overcharged me from the start. No response from me Gain and finally I let hi. K ow what I was willing to pay ND felt as if he tried to rip me off! IWe agreed to a price, I pick it up. He's gruff and rude. Had to make him show me the appliance wS repaired. He seems proficient but I'd NEVER recommend him to anyone. James? Your response is not needed. I'm sure you'll put your arrogant spin on it. Read moreMy Sony Bravia 52" LCD TV went kaput. It would not even turn on. I did a google search, found James' website, liked what I saw, and gave him a call. To my surprise he came to my house within an hour after I called. James removed the back cover of my TV, diagnosed the problem to the power supply circuit board, and gave me a quote. Much to my greater surprise, the amount he quoted me was for the replacement power supply board AND the labor to install it. I gave James the go ahead and six days later he came back to my house, replaced the board, buttoned up the TV, turned it on, checked it out, gave me a 6 month warranty, took my check, and was out the door 35 minutes after he arrived. My TV works perfectly. Total cost of one diagnostic visit and another to deliver and install the replacement power supply board was a fraction of what a new TV of the same quality would have cost me. I am completely satisfied and I highly recommend James TV and Audio Repair. Two thumbs up...
