Experience Tennessee Mooresville Market is found at 3399 Mooresville Hwy in Lewisburg. This old grocery store with gas pumps out front is the heart of this community. Dixie greeted us as we entered, the floors show the wear of many generations who’ve walked through these doors. If floors and walls could talk, think of the stories they could tell. The store was built over 100 years ago. After a fire at this location in 1929, they moved a building here by mules. The day was long and the building had to sit in the road until morning. Then they maneuvered it to join the existing store in the rear. This rear location is where they stored animal feed. Today the only animals they feed at The Mooresville Mkt is the human type. Hungry people filed in and Dixie knew the majority of them and what they wanted. The menu is posted on the wall behind the register and the coffee is at the end of the counter. Out front there is seating to watch the traffic go by and tables in the rear of the store for colder days. Visiting Mooresville reminds us to slow down and enjoy the people around us and the place we are at. We enjoyed visiting with Dixie and others who were enjoying breakfast. Many have told us you haven’t had a good burger till you’ve had one at The Mooresville Market. So we will have to return to visit again. Don’t just Travel Tennessee…EXPERIENCE TENNESSEE!! #ExperienceTN #tnambassador #sctta #nbby #marshallcountychamberofcommerce #marshallcountytn #mooresvillemarket #mooresvilletn #lewisburgtn

No food is better than being treated poorly. I service this place as a citizen of the community and they scowl at me as im helping them succeed as a business by ensuring they receive their supplies in tact. They are extremely short with you and rude. Only right to say they don’t like strangers at their business. Well considering ive been their over a dozen times I wont be spending another penny at this establishment and I hope anyone who is not “from the area” stays away because to run a business and have no care in the world for someone spending their hard earned money with you is beyond me. Only 1 or 2 people work there at a time and I politely asked “may i order a burger” and the lady stared at me as she walked away without saying a word to even acknowledge my request or elighten me on how to order seeing that she had no desire to assist. Thereafter the lady at the register asked me did i need anything and then the initial employee i originally asked, yells out “yeah he wants a burger”. Anywhere else would be a better decision made to...

Perfection! Steak is so juicy & has alot of flavor since it's marinated. Doesn't need any kind of steak sauce. I just like a little HEINZ 57 LOL. You guys are missing out on the Surf & Turf Deal! I wish I lived closer bc I would prolly come here on a daily basis. Much better than eating restaurant food bc you can taste the lovin' in the...
