Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest — Local services in Lewiston

I used to love going to our Goodwill, but the prices are increasingly ludicrous anymore. Now it's more worth it to drive all the way to the Moscow Goodwill where you can actually find good deals on better stuff. Whoever is running our towns Goodwill could really take some notes from Moscow. I don't know why ours feels the need to try and scalp so hard from stuff they're receiving for free. OUI is the go to thrifting spot in the valley. They get the idea; price low and move the dang merchandise. Not sit on it forever hoping to sell for what you'd buy something on sale brand new for.

The statement that you haven't increased your pricing might be true for company standards, but I've been to several Goodwills in my area for several years now, and our Lewiston store specifically by far the worst and has been slowly getting worse over the last few years. I know what services Goodwill provides,, but there is no reason our store should be more expensive.. Objectively, it simply is not as well priced as its neighboring stores. And no safely-written response can dance around that. It might be able to fool someone who doesn't frequent Goodwill stores, but it won't get past me and several of my fellow thrifting...

They were selling a half broken vacuum cleaner. I offered to buy it for $10 less, because i know I'll have to replace the electrical cord. The staff tried to blame their electrical outlets, as if they aren't up to code or something, and wouldn't accept my reasonable offer considering the broken equipment they were trying to sell. I politely said no thank you. If they find somebody to buy their death trap, they now might be liable for someone's life. Beware!!! Test everything in this store, because they clearly don't care if it's in reasonable safe...

They don't allow you to use the dressing room to try on clothes when you are there. They say that you have 4 days to take them home and try them and bring back if they don't fit. AT NO TIME DO THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU DON'T GET YOUR MONEY BACK. IT IS ONLY WHEN WHEN YOU RETURN THEM THAT THEY TELL YOU HAVE TO TAKE STORE CREDIT. THIS IS BULLSHIY. I MAY NEED YHAT MONEY FIR SOMETHING ELSE AND IF I HAD TRIED THEM ON AT THE STORE I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THEM AND WASTED MY MONEY. THIS PLACE SUCKS. AND A SCAM FOR YOUR MONEY. WILL BE REPORTING TO...
