My 4 year old GE dishwasher was throwing a H2O error. I called Sam and he came right away, looked at the machine and Diagnosed it as being the motherboard. He asked if he could take it to his shop while he waited on the Part to be shipped from Spokane To Lewiston and I agreed. About a week later later he messaged me and said that it wasnât the motherboard that Now he thought it was the Harness wiring and that it couldnât be fixed. He asked me if he could junk it for me. I told him no, to bring it back to my house. My son, who has no experience fixing dishwashers, figured out that it was a clogged water pressure sensor. So my son came over and cleaned the water pressure sensor. We started the dishwasher up and it was no longer throwing the H2O code, but now it had a leak. It was not leaking when I sent it with Sam, so I messaged him to find out what else he worked on while he had it to cause it to start leaking. Sam advised he had done nothing to it to cause it to leak. I Offered Sam an opportunity to fix the leak and he refused. To be fair, Sam did not charge me anything and he did pay $25 for a pump seal. I ordered a seal and my son came and fixed it and my dishwasher is running great now.. Not real impressed with Samâs knowledge of dishwasher repair. Kind of feels as if he was trying to get me to junk it so he could do a Quick quick fix on the sensor and sell it At a...
Read moreWe purchased a 400$ Kenmore stove top from Sam's Appliance, just for it to be sold without its plug, so it couldn't even be used. We were not told this, until after the transaction was already completed and was loaded into our truck. asked for his assistant to put a plug on it, and his assistant told us he couldnt. He instead recommended us to go to home depot, buy one ourselves and put it on ourselves. I did not know or expect to have to buy a plug and install the plug myself, as I've never bought a stove from a business that required me to do so. My biggest issue, was that this was not communicated to us before purchase, and made installing the stove more of a headache than it was worth (since I didnt have a clue as to how to do it). After installing however, the stove does seem to work well and as intended. I have revised my review to account for this. Communication if very important, especially for customers like me who wouldn't know any better otherwise. I hope this business does better in the future to...
