We have known and worked with Habatat Galleries for over ten years. Jay Scott, owner, has always found the perfect items for us- he knows the kinds of art glass which we prefer. We have bought several pieces in person, and more from the website and emails; we have never hesitated to buy something seeing it only online, because the quality of the art glass he sells is amazing, and we know that he would never recommend a piece that would not be appropriate. Furthermore, every piece that has been shipped has arrived in perfect condition, packed extremely carefully. My husband and I traveled to Winston-Salem from Atlanta to meet Jay Scott, see his gallery and view a sculpture of a new young artist he featured in his gorgeous newsletter. We were extremely impressed with Jay and the artists he represents. Jay has been in the art world a long time and is very knowledgeable about the artists he represents. He also has excellent personal relationships with many of them. Jay’s gallery may be small, but every piece is stunning. Although we didn’t buy the young artist we traveled to see, we DID buy two incredible glass sculptures that we are thrilled with! Jay arranged for one of these sculptures to be driven to our home.
