Jones Strawberry Farm — Local services in Lewisville

They are scammers and liars. I filled my bucket as full as any of their pre picked and they charged an extra $8, they say there’s signs. But there aren’t. They decide randomly when they just want to charge you extra. Also, the young person cannot be bothered to acknowledge you except to stare at you awkwardly, so much so my daughter commented about how unfriendly the worker was. I was an annual customer and this will be my last year.

Purchased the second gallon sold yesterday 5/19/24. While prepping the berries to freeze, discovered a lot of the berries were mildewed from all the recent rain. Ended up test tasting every berry before freezing to weed out the rotten berries. There were over 24 berries that were not edible. The taste was disgusting, even though the berries looked beautiful. I came to the farm today, very pregnant, with a three year old and a one year old. I was not equip to pick my own strawberries. They were sold out of pre-picked but still managed to find a bucket with a random amount and sold them to me at a discounted price. This act of kindness meant so much to me and my kiddos.
