Republic Services Landfill — Local services in Lewisville

Absolute worst dump I've ever been to.

The Colony apparently has some 'pass' system you have to be a part of to dump here for free. Otherwise, for residents it's $120, or for non-residents it's a $300 minimum! Completely outrageous. And trying to receive this information from the rudest lady on earth treating us like we were stupid for not knowing all this (my friend just moved there) was excruciating to say the least.

Furthermore, they seem to like to make up their own times on when they close. The sign out front says 6pm, Google says 5:30pm, the mean lady at the window says 5pm, and a forklift operator said 'around 4' . .

This place is truly a dump. Ran like a dump by dumpy people with dumpy attitudes and the highest prices of any dump I've ever seen. Don't even waste your time going here unless you go to city hall and get the pass, etc.

This place is filled with scammers and extremely rude staff. I am a resident of Lewisville and currently own two properties and in the process of moving into the new place. They said they need a water bill and not just my ID. No other bill electricity/internet bills would work. The HOA of my current townhouse pays for the water and I don't get a bill. I tried explaining and tried to get the HOA speak to the representative but they wouldn't speak to anyone. Luckily I had a water bill from the second house that I just bought. I take it to them and they refuse to accept it because the address on the license was of the old house and didn't match the new house with the waterbill. And they ended up charging me to use...

Would give zero stars if I could. Im a resident of the city of Lewisville and attempted to use this landfill. Was asked for my DL as expected loke all other landfills, but then was asked for a water bill too. Nowhere do they state thats a requirement to use the landfill. Not on the website or posted anywhere at the landfill. Inhad multiple other documents in my truck all with my home address, but only a water bill was acceptable. What a joke system to verify residence...
