I’ve been a member of the Racquetball Gym in Liberal for years, and it’s been an amazing experience. The courts are always well-maintained, and the atmosphere is welcoming. What really sets this gym apart is the community – everyone is supportive and friendly, from beginners to advanced players. It’s not just a place to play racquetball it’s a place to connect with people who share your interests.
The gym offers various programs and leagues that cater to all skill levels. I’ve participated in several tournaments, which are always well-organized and a lot of fun. The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help with tips and advice to improve your game. They also keep the facility clean and ensure everything is in top working order.
Overall, the Racquetball Gym is more than just a gym; it’s a fantastic community hub. Whether you’re looking to get in shape, improve your racquetball skills, or meet new people, this is the place to be. Highly...
Read moreI originally posted this on Yelp. The owner and a member of been hassling me online, so I added it to Google as well. Keep in mind - the owner was fine with the employee calling me an a**hole.
Originally, I gave this gym a 4 out of 5 review. I've changed it to a 1. I'll explain why. There's a group of young people that yell and cuss a lot in the gym. I asked a team member to do something about it. He gave me a deer in the headlights look. Finally, I talked the young people and asked them to stop cussing and yelling, saying it was disrespectful. They yelled and cussed more - at me and in general. The employee that I spoke to about it decided it would be a good idea to call me an a**hole for confronting them. Never, ever is it a good idea to call your customer names. I resigned my membership immediately. I don't recommend this...
Read moreI have not lived in liberal for a few years now, but I tend to go home during holidays. This gym has been around for a long time and so has the equipment, which needs updating since the equipment has a bunch of rust. The hip abductors, leg extensions, and the laying squat machine for example do not operate smoothly compared to other gym I use frequently. The bathroom stall also does not have a lock for the men’s restroom, which I think it has been like that for years now. The one thing that place does have that I have always liked is the steam room, but for the quality of the equipment and the price you pay I would just go to the community college gym or one of the several new gyms that have opened up. This place could be so much better and I hope the owner updates the equipment and add more...
