I went to take a motorcycle class, the website said no experience needed. So I came into take their class. Instead of starting us on 125 they had us on bigger bikes that was at least 300s to 500s. As a smaller woman my hands was going out because I could barely reach the clutch, I let them know and they told me they weren’t going to adjusted so my hand was in pain the whole time. The motorcycle fell on me a couple times and not only me but others who had issues with theirs as well. Because it was my first time maneuvering myself on the motorcycle they expected me to already shift gears before I was ready to. Like I’m still learning to clutch, brake, and accelerate. So instead of giving me time they kicked me out. My time and money was wasted. Saying I was the safety issue. First of all, at least I said something before I did something that made me uncomfortable. This class was a safety issue. I feel a lot of these bikes needed repairs and adjustments but they only wanted to rush through the lessons. I never been kicked out of class before and it was honestly humiliating and such a disappointment to be guided by men who couldn’t even properly handle the...
Read moreDACC truthfully changed my life!! All of the staff at DACC has so much care for their students & their success! It's such a great place to find yourself and meet amazing people who are just like you. I never felt like I fit in at a regular high school, but joining DACC was like joining a giant, supportive family! I've always struggled to feel like school was more than just test scores that define your path, but after completing my academics at DACC, I finally understood that it was so much more than that! I discovered what I am passionate about, my love for learning, how to make life-changing connections, and what I want to do for the rest of my life! People around you may say stuff like "it's way too good to be true" (believe me, I heard that one too), but DACC went beyond my expectations! I gained so many amazing opportunities, experiences, awards, & more (I got to travel to Anaheim, California with some of my best friends to compete for Business Professionals of America, how cool is that?)! If you're even slightly considering DACC, then I would 100% say give it a try and you will...
Read moreThe school counselor are entirely useless, the first day if school for my bussing they just said talk to the 30 bus drivers and figure it out. Now they swapped half the busses and proceeded to give zero information on anything. After running back and forth between the busses I learned there's actually 2 busses with the same number so that was some fun confusion. The only counselor that actually helped me was Mr wood, so thank you for being helpful unlike the rest. The only good thing about them is the lab. This school is expensive as the lunches cost a lot, the labs cost a lot, and the chromebooks you need also cost a lot. They have limited class selections for anything other than your lab, and they will somehow manage to mess up your schedule. Neaver wanted full day but they through me into it anyways. Multiple documents from me requesting half day but oh well. So all in all, this school is not good and I wouldn't recommend it for anything other...
