Scenic View Orchard — Local services in Liberty Township

I usually like to come to the Tuesday market at the Frederick YMCA because the sweet corn is so good, but this last time was a major, major turnoff. I've never found the people who work the market to be particularly friendly, but this time one of the older men working there shoved my child's hand away from the produce when my boy had the audacity just to pick it up and look at it. My son is three. That's what they do. And no one has the right to touch him. When I confronted the guy, he got a bad attitude, saying he didn't do anything to him, no apology forthcoming. "Not doing anything" to my son is not the point. My son didn't do anything to your precious produce, either. Touch my son without permission again and I'm bringing a lawyer into it. That's if I come back at all. Selling produce doesn't require your employees...

Scenic View market has been my favorite fruit & veg stand for many years. The fruit is always perfectly ripe, the veg are always fresh, and everyone is neighborly. It's my one-stop shop for produce, local honey and terrific fresh bread on the weekend. The seasonal flower arrangements are GORGEOUS, and my mom looks forward to them all Summer long. The plants are well-cared for and healthy. The selection of local snacks and beverages, like carmel corn puffs, cheese, soda and cider is delicious. We have been buying our fresh produce from Scenic View Orchards for many years. We have never been disappointed with anything we bought there. We love the beautiful drive up 550 to the main market. For convenience there are several markets closer. We love the spinach, strawberries, cherries, cucumbers, spring onions, tomatoes, melons, ..peaches are to die for ...and the potatoes and apples are wonderful. Last year we discovered the applesauce. It is great. There is just no comparison to what you buy in the store..I give five stars hands down... They are the...
